As a Lifeguard and Swimming Instructor for Sylvan Lake, you get some amazing experience. With many courses, lessons and guarding opportunities, there's never a day where you will be bored.
Management is some of the best I have ever had. They give you direct support and truly treat you like you are all family. There is even Counselling support if needed through an outside company free of charge for all employees (and family members).

Love working in the town I learned so much, they help you in so many ways .They are very organized they check you from time to time to see to it your okey especially when they know that I was pregnant ,we communicate well they see to it that we give the nice service for the seniors.

Overall my experience working with Municipal Enforcement was not the best. I loved what I did and the job in itself. I was hired soon after College with no previous work experience. Management has no managing experience and is hard to work with. 
Be prepared to have a strong backbone working for Municipal Enforcement.

Managers and coworkers are amazing people here and you will never be let down for an opportunity to show hard work. 

Busy season leaves everyone with a lot to do but at the end of every day you will feel content with what happened

The employees at the Town of Sylvan Lake have an amazing, coherent work environment that provides a feeling of comfort and friendship within the workplace.

Love the people I work with, the enviroment, and my bosses. They are very hands on, and I have built many relationships. My boss was very understanding, and truly cared about the workers.

Working for the Town of Sylvan Lake is incredible. From the elected officials, to the CAO, Managers and all of the staff, true professionalism is shown in this tight knit family.

The Town of Sylvan Lake is a friendly place to work, and gives a sense of community as it brings in many regular customers. Fun atmosphere. Wonderful training.
