I have spent 3 summers working at The Jansen Group and I couldn't be happier with my decision to join this team. I had previously worked for two other employers in landscape construction who were substandard comparatively to The Jansen Group. They do a great job creating a positive and supportive work environment, which is something I value. 

The work itself is both challenging and rewarding, as every day we get to see the results of our hard work in the form of high end custom landscapes. I enjoyed expanding on my scope of work, adding to my skillset and applying different building applications. I appreciated the flexible hours and management being understanding of any time off requests. The opportunity for growth, if you're considering landscape construction as a career, was always available. Management was always approachable and happy to provide training and feedback to accelerate my growth as an employee. I started as a lead hand and quickly moved into a leadership role as a foreman. 

Overall, I highly recommend The Jansen Group to anyone looking for a challenging and rewarding career in the landscape industry. The company has grown since I started with them,  adding more custom work which I particularly enjoy. It feels great to be apart of a team who I get a long with and appreciates the work I have done. 


I have been in The Jansen Group Ltd. employ for 8 years and have enjoyed and appreciated the company’s priorities, goals and culture.  As a senior Admin and Bookkeeper, I have learned and experienced many new ideas to improve my job and help the company move forward. The management team is very goal-oriented and possesses vision for a positive future. Jansen cares about their employees and gives opportunities to succeed within the company. I have always found them to be a more than fair and generous employer. Their strive for quality and distinction has always been a priority that interests our employees and creates a stable company culture.

Over the last 4 years the company has seen massive growth and improvement. With that came lots of room for personal growth and opportunities within the organization. The Jansen Group works on high end projects that get better and more elaborate every year. They are constantly upgrading their equipment and looking to add great members to the team. I've enjoyed being surrounded by a great core group of staff and working in a fast paced environment. Looking forward to what the future holds for myself and the company.

I have been with the company for almost a year now and don't see myself leaving anytime soon, i have learned and experienced a lot within the year. everyone is helpful and great to work with. if im stuck on a task i know i can count on many co-workers to help me over come any problem i come across. the company ranges from lawn maintenance to hard scape and soft scape with lots of room to to advance. if you like to work hard and have a great work day, The Jansen Group is the place to be

4 year employee, work is year round with landscaping and snow removal, really enjoy co-workers. Lots of opportunities to learn. Management is engaged and willing to get their hands in the dirt if needed.

Typical work is Mon-Fri 7-5, with alternating weekends. Long weekends off. Job is physically demanding at times. High end residential projects that can an extra effort to make sure everything is up to standards.

Overall, it is a great company to work for. 

I’ve been with the jansen group for 4 seasons, every year the jobs get bigger and better. There is nothing more rewarding then seeing the smile on the clients face after successfully completing a project. 
The jobs range from small hardscape jobs to massive retaining walls and complete yard Reno’s. There is a lot of positive support within the company and with all the knowledge that’s in-house this is a great company to work with. 

Started at the end of last season and haven't enjoyed coming to work more than I have the last 6 months. The Jansen Group is more like a family than a company with all members of the team being supportive and like minded. The goal is to go above and beyond expectations of the client and the passion that everyone has really shines through with the magnificent outcomes of the work being done.

Always learning new ways of the impossible to posible way of doing the best landscape jobs safely clean and efficiently with always upgrades to newer safer equipment to do so to make work easier for evryone.


Next to no machine and vehicle maintenance. You either work 90hrs a week or 90 minutes, Very underpaid for the work you are expected to accomplish. The most enjoyable part of the job is leaving for the day and shutting your phone off.

The chance at doing/learning something new is present everyday. The staff and  clients are fantastic to deal with. You will be required to work hard most days but, you are rewarded for it.
