Shipping and receiving of all major flyers and newspapers in the province of New Brunswick and, inserting them in all local newspapers. 

     A normal day consists of setting up production maps accurately and efficiently, and/or receiving additional flyers for the following week. Thinking ahead and organization are essential for this workplace to run smoothly because of limited storage space and, a large number of safety regulations. Communication via radio walkie-talkies is also very important because without it, there would likely be production errors. 

     The most challenging part of the job is finding ways to be efficient and effective while still following safety regulations. The warehouse is very compact with a large number of people present often. Caution and awareness are needed at all times. I gain satisfaction from being able to get production ahead of schedule and finding newer, faster methods of getting the job done.

Inspired goal reaching sales figures, motivated sales team members, participated in and conducted weekly educational meetings, created new advertising feature ideas regularly, hired and trained new staff members, and coordinated all areas of the department through collaboration with other departments.

Created strong customer base by contacting new and existing customers to purchase advertising space for newspaper features by constantly changing, booking and updating regularly run and new ads, and gave personal attention to customers by meeting and exceeding their needs.

Can get away with alot on nightshift

Nobody cares about you. The pay sucks, management really don't care

Bunch of loud mouths and it's funny

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Put thing on a tuck take them off a tuck and yell at people

a typical day on the job is tiring but you get to be outside. Didnt really learn anything other than how to package newspapers. Great management, didn't have to work with any co-workers. The hardest part of the job was delivering in the winter storms. The most enjoyable part was getting fit.

As a creative designer for the Times and Transcript for 5 years , I worked closely with the Sales Team and the clients to meet daily deadlines and produce creative advertising

Papers were always on time, very good job for people who don't have many social skills, very easy to do job , good for people who enjoy walking in the mornings

Wonderful place to work. I recommend applying. A typical day at Deluxe includes: Smiling, Having Fun, but still being productive as it has strict hold for responsibility's.

It's a good company to work at. It has a career for all ages. They keep promises and are employee friendly. I enjoyed my time working for them.
