Office administrator..taking calls, coordinating couriers and arranging travel were my main duties. Communicating with corporate in Ontario regarding records/accounts payable was also a huge part of the job. It was a comfortable place to work and all staff were very respectful to me and each other. I felt very valued and my ideas with regard to organization and administration were praised. Spent a lot of time reorganizing reference materials and records when first hired.

My experience at Toro Group was mixed. I had the opportunity to work on a variety of building envelope and architectural projects, which allowed me to apply and develop my technical skills in drafting, site assessments, and documentation.

However, I found certain aspects of the company culture and management approach to be challenging. Communication and project coordination were sometimes inconsistent, which affected workflow and team efficiency.

While the role offered valuable hands-on experience, I believe there is room for improvement in how staff are supported and how project responsibilities are structured.

In terms of windows quality , they have the best quality.  But when it comes to supervisor and management they are really bad with the workers!  I work on weekend shift and tge supervisors had problems with me and they were trying everything with me to get me out of the company.  Until I got threatened by the supervisor.  I quit my job last week just to save myself. Not a safe place to work at all.

I really enjoy the atmosphere of this company. the co workers are respectful and help new employees get comfortable. 

The warehouse is clean and safe. If it were not for the distance id stay there forever but the commute is too much.

Fast paced workplace, great for students but low pay. 12 hours shift and not everyone can handle it with all the rush. 0 training!! They let you work with random employee and those people cant even speak proper english to explain how they do their work. It is good to stay for midterm during lockdown.

Manager doesn't train people properly and gets frustrated so easily. His people skills isn't the greatest either very rough personality. It was mentioned at the interview part of job was delivering didn't mention at all about heavy lifting.

At Toro Aluminum the work doesn't stop its a very successful company with alot of haters. Example is past employees hating because either they got let go or fired due to doing something untolerable. Overall Toro is a good Company with alot of brighter years to come.

The job comes with good pay and benefits but the company is very unorganized with areas of the business that are always short handed.
Asides from the pay this is not a very good place to work, this is why I am searching for a new job.
