Great people to work with everyone works as a team but management is horrible! you can be fired for NOTHING and they get away with it i got fired before my probation was up soo they didnt have to give me my benefits I was doing extremely well working 3 peoples jobs at the same time yet they fired me for being lazy.... and nobody in that warehouse would agree to that because I ran the whole basement running boards threw the saws, then the plainer, then stacking them in a bundle cart, bundled the bundles, then used the forklift to move the bundle to the shipping area. And I worked upstairs doing the same thing just with 12' long boards instead of 4' like what I was usually doing in the basement

Working there was very enjoyable. The other workers are friendly and always in a positive mood, management was helpful when needed   and supervised KD-1 very well. hardest part would definitely be the physical labor, but the atmosphere there was so much fun I actually enjoyed almost everyday working at Townsend. despite a few bad apples there which you just have to avoid them, it is a fantastic place to work id do it again if i had the option

that's right, you need not read more than what i said for the title. stable 40 hour work week, people there 10+ years still making minimum wage. so no room to go up or even no chance for a pay increase. people there are braindead yes stick your hand in the chipper. management on days is absent nightshift even more absent (being strung out on heroine will do that i guess). people are just mental there....probably the drugs to blame

Worked 3 summers at the company, almost every department but mostly the West Mill. Long days, hard work, pays off to be careful whatever you’re doing. Rough work conditions as it gets hot in the summer and you’re constantly moving. Have to be just as strong mentally as physically to show up every day and get the job done. This is an honest review, not sugar coating it.

Toxic. Mgmt don't really care about the workers

I really enjoy working with my co-workers and I have a manager who truly values my opinions and contributions. I am given the freedom to be creative and my input into important marketing decisions is always considered and appreciated by management.

15$/h can't live on that and not worth it its a really hard straining job for little Over min benefits only after a year good crew of people only issue I had was the lack of follow through on advancement and the pay 

inept management who treat employees like dirt. you will do ok if you have to go to methadone clinic once a week. management blames employees for their ineptitude and employee turnover is high. its ghetto conditions in a lot of the buildingd. would not send an enemy there

Good start up job. Can get a lot of experience threw machines and hand eye coordination jobs. Can advance if wanted and willing too. Learn new objectives and can apply ten to future resumes and job positions

It was a good stable stepping stone. They offered flexible hours and I learned multiple skills during my employment at Townsend lumber. I would recommend to anyone looking for a stable employment.
