its an allright spot to work, they make it seem like a great company and they have there act together but they don't! they say its all about safety and all about  taking your time and getting the job done the safest way but there wrong its all about rush rush rush get the job done! that's what happened when they wanted the rig movement done  my supervisor told me to do something and i did it, i fell and broke my arm and i got fired and they screwed me over on workers comp!  there's so much more i can say but i don't bad mouth, my suggestion don't work with them in newfoundland because they don't care about you or what you think they treat you bad

Transocean is an oil and gas drilling company that does not compromise excellence delivery of completed wells with standard safety practices. Being the largest drilling company worldwide with their standard and safe method of drilling makes them one of the best in the drilling sector.

a typical day offshore is a twelve hour shift, I have learned that working on a rig is a team effort and when you work with good people the hitch goes really good. the hardest part of the job is probably getting on the chopper to go out and the most enjoyable would be making it home safe!!!

Was great to work on so many different types of equiment and the training was very good for the work I did.would work for the company again if a chance came up

Twelve hour work days - 21 day rotation.  It might not be extremely exciting job but it pays well.  You get to know your co-workers and rely on them for conservation when not working and safety when working.  We work in crews and rely on each other.

It was the biggest offshore drilling company and as such was good place to work especially for new personnel in the business, due to opportunity for learning and promotions. Unfortunately many thing changed in past years.
