What is the best part of working at the company?
Getting paid a Weekly pay checks deposited to your bank account. Not having a biweekly paycheck twice a month is very nice

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
No health benefits, rrsp benefits, and they fire you like you mean nothing to them as an employee. You not valued enough for the time and work you sacrifice for them.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Good you get to travel all over the province and see lots of places. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Build a new or do updates to and existing site or trouble shoot problems on existing equipment sometimes you have the parts to fix the problems or would continue with it the following day.

I worked a lot of hours for this company i travelled across canada. on the road for 30 days at a time working up to 17 hours a day! Not for any normal person! Ya you get perdiem but if the hotel you stay at has breakfast they deduct money off your perdiem even though you leave the hotel before the breakfast is started, Not a place to grow its a tight family company! training is terrible within 2 days of being hired your climbing up too 500 foot towers doing regular work with zero experience! After working over 90 hours a week for 4 weeks straight they called me back to work on another 30 day trip after 5 days off…. One of those days they had me do computer work. not for the faint hearted ones 

Trilinks was a good company to work for 20yrs ago. They had the best management, crews, great equipment, wages, per diem but then things changed. The more money they made, the more greedier they became. They no longer cared about the employees as all they want was the all mighty dollar. The employees got you know on all the time. The company has fallen from grace in the rigging and telecommunications industry. Family got too involved in pressuring employees to the point that we all hated the owners. 
Enough said... Don't work for these people, they will just screw you over. Want to know more,, find me,, I will fill you in on a very unforgiving past and family issues with this place.



At trilinks you’re either out of town all week or on call every day and expected to show up promptly. If you have friends, family, pets, kids, or any kind of social life, You’ll need to give up everything. Rather top heavy management while the upper guys have a new vehicle every year and the workers are wearing 3 year old ripped and torn boots. It could be fun if it was ran more like a normal job and not a military operation with a “do it or find another job” attitude.
If you don’t care about personal time and like extreme risk with minimal reward, this ones for you. If not, stay away from the trilinks trap.

This place is disorganized. Management is incompetent. The warehouse role has nothing to do and is one of the most boring jobs I've been at. Expect tons of time in a little yard out in the sun. The forklift is terrible. Tools needed for the job constantly have batteries or the tools itself taken by other employees leaving the warehouse for the day. No bin locations, everything is all over the place.

Trilinks Bowmanville will promise you hours and make u feel everything is okay. When you start the job is when you realise they have no jobs for u. They can send u home after 2hrs or 3hrs of your start shift.. All they tell you is that oh we have a lot of prOjects at hand waiting for approval;) It gets so worst that they will tell you not to even come in at all for some days. Guys watch out before you quit your job to work for this fake promising company..

Very misogynistic and unprofessional style of MGMT. If you enjoy being yelled at and degraded then this is the perfect choice. One of the bosses is a complete raging steroid monster. If you like to work for someone who provides no communication or clear expectations of your role and then being constantly reprehended for their short comings, by all means.

I got to see / visit so many places in BC while on the road! Great group of guys who really know their stuff! I learned so much about telecommunications. I got good training from the managment on my first week! Had to leave due to family issues but was told I could come back to Trilinks when I was ready and I definetly will.

Co workers are great and helpful. The management on the other hand are 2 faced and degrade the employees.
Example of bad management (manager's son) is straight out lying to the employees re their safety gear. Told them in a morning meeting the employees would have to pay for their safety gear if it is lost or damaged.
Last time I looked that was illegal.
