Hard working people means nothing but favoritism/laziness gets you a raise, seen new hires just eager to learn get dismissed immediately by the superintendents/foremans, travelling into site/camp aren't paid until 3 weeks later, intimidation in open field, talking negative behind your backs especially overhearing there CFO speaking ill will of different department personnel to the field managers daily on the phone and site safety/health/sanitation isn't a priority.

As mentioned before, very buddy buddy system. Backstabbing and lack of integrity is the order of the day with management. If you hurt yourself document everything. They will try to screw you any way they can, though they will talk a real positive game to your face. There are many better companies to work for than here. 6-1 shift is garbage, and forget about having a life. Day off = layoff

Days went by fast for me. Always knew what I was doing the day before.

Pipeline life.all I can say,if you don't understand you don't belong.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Long,dirty, and I love it. It's a lifestyle not a job

too flaky with their hours, its near impossible to maintain even a 44 hour work week. Rates are better since going CLAC but if your not working your not making money.  And that rates thing only applies if they ever choose to honour it. They like to keep everyone in the dark. I hope someone swoops in and takes them out

Long hours but decent pay along with benefits.  I very much enjoyed the people and culture which is friendly.  It tends to be seasonal work when projects come along so depending on the position that you have, it may very well be short term.  I look forward to working with them on new projects after the spring thaw.

First Pipeline Job, Learned a lot about environment activities. Workplace is on the fly which makes the day go by need to prepare for the pace to keep up with Construction. 
Being outside everyday is an bonus.
Downside is being away for a period of time.

they threaten to fire you from your job if you don't do what they say after your shift is over. It's all who you know and it's unbelievably political. good luck with this company!

I worked 12 hours a day and 6 days a week while learning and adding hours to my apprentiship. The bosses were great and we had half an hour lunch breaks, with fifteen minute coffee breaks. and two safety meeting a day.

Had a great winter working for triple J.  Forman and supers were very help when need be. Camp was decent and food was alright only real down fall was working a 6 and 1 shift that end up more of a 13 and 1.
