Triple M Metal LP

Most of the guys are good guys to work with. The problem here is there is all ways something wrong Equipment is Garbage and i mean garbage you have to fill out equipment checks at the start of every shift which is fine but when nothing gets done and you have reported the same problem over and over you tend to get frustrated. Ive worked at some hard places but i never seen a company who does not maintain there equipment as this one they are horrible. But if something happens you are to blame. Management needs to change if this place is going to get any better they need management that care not attack employees. Take a look at how many times this company has posted jobs on here and no one apply and if some do and make it in they will be fired in no time cuz of minor damage Again junk equipment that breaks down all the time but it is the operator fault. I can not recommend this place at all if you apply again you were warned. Very unsafe Equipment. it is a embarrassment to run most of the equipment this company has. A typical shift at this place is stressful fighting to keep you machine in operation and trying to keep management off your back cuz you are trying to do the best you can with the junk you are given to do the job. Again i would not recommend this place at all it would not be a bad job if they had a management team that would actually care about there employees and maintain there equipment      if you apply all i got to say is best of luck cuz ya are going too need it im telling you.

Experience operators need not apply to this purgatory but if you're fresh out of school and looking to gain some experience you might need to do a pit stop here. This company is a dead end for the most part but if you can get into management your compensation could be decent. 

Compensation is minimal for regular workers and profit sharing will never be as much as HR tells you when you get hired. 

Upper level management rule with an iron fist and constantly scream at employees. Lower level management all hate their jobs and make it clear on social media. 

You will meet some great people here that seem to not believe in themselves and think they can't do better but most of them could. It's as if they've been brainwashed to think this is the best they can do. 

The hardest part of the job is keeping motivated when the curtain gets pulled back and you see how things are operated. 

The most enjoyable part of the job is cracking wise with your coworkers about how much the place sucks. Seriously some of the guys could be stand up comedians and will have you in stitches some days.

Very fast paced, intellectually stimulating position. Learn a lot of cool information about metal. Too fast paced to develop friendly working relationships. Everyone is miserable. Don’t think I ever saw my scalemates smile once. My trainers/scalemates were impatient and not thorough with the material but their plates were full as well. If you are a stand up employee and give two weeks notice, they will fire you. I made sure to take extra shifts before I quit to help my scalemates and they still let me go because they considered my new job to be competition despite it not being a metal facility. I also had to chase them for my last paycheque for a month! Despite how it sounds, I liked my tasks and wish I had stayed longer and not taken that next job. I loved learning about metal. 

The customer service and trader support department at Triple M Metal LP  is by far the worst in the company. Management treats staff as if they are easily replaceable, leading to a high turnover rate and an inability to retain decent staff. Favoritism is rampant, and only those who constantly kiss up to management are treated well.

There is no room for growth and no opportunities for advancement. The work culture is fake, and management is miserable, often displaying attitude and mood swings with zero support for employees.

If you are comfortable being micromanaged, watched at all times, having no work-from-home flexibility, and working in a toxic environment, then you might find this job suitable. However, for anyone looking for a supportive and positive work atmosphere, I would strongly advise against working here.

A typical work day consists of doing daily mechanical checks on equipment, sort through non ferrous material, operate heavy equipment. I have learned different skills about safety of operating heavy equipment (ex Shredder) , lockout produces, health and safety regulations of the workplace. My management is very well organized and treat us well. I enjoy working with the management and co-workers, we are a good team. The hardest part about my job is sometimes it gets slow and there is not a lot of tasks that could be taken care of. I really enjoy being able to take part of being challenged daily with metal fabrication tasks and working on heavy vehicles.

The leadhands & suoervisors do not give proper instruction before heading into a task/job, they don't shadow you to make sure you know what your doing they just expect you to jump into knowing what to do. No lockout training, no comfort on the job site and was very pressuring to "find work" to do when there is no proper instruction of what the jobs require of you WITHOUT BOBCAT LICENSE. Are very quick to make decisions based on their own emotions and is like walking on egg shells and there is a definite lack of care for the workers at the bottom.

The position itself is great , however they don't practice what they  preach especially when it comes to health& safety at work,they don't care about their teams well being.There deceptive in so many ways they will often make you do things that are not in your job description.
Management is a joke or lack of it, its like being in high school with all the drama, you can't just go to work and do your job without everyone wanting to know your business.

Most enjoyable part of job was finding treasures even if you couldn't keep them.

Company needs a whole management overhaul. Lots of uneducated people high up that will just bark at you instead of listening to issues as they have no experience just worked their way up by being in the circle . They believe in mushroom management ( look it up to much to type ). Lots of misinformation and always left in the dark about the companies health. No matter how much you put Into the company the high ups will always say " this company was here before you cam and will be here when you leave"

Snakes! Promise you the work life balance then take advantage, they pile more and more in while the lazy employees take advantage. No training no coaching expect you just to get their way and if you don’t they fire you with no reason. Management is horrible  be very weary drivers take advantage and your not allowed to say anything to them. The culture is toxic. This place is only built for people with no lives or family they will take everything and offer nothing that’s why the pay so well they expect everything from you. These guys are joke 

Work place culture is very toxic and it affects other workers . Very confusing to get started on the your shift , you can have difference job setup from supervisor or leadhand , so you can start on a job and every thing can change , but can be rudely explained to you. The jobs can be very heavy and sometimes will team up with other technician , sometimes it could be difficult working with someone with a language barrier and can be difficult work with such person.
