Pay is meh, tips are inconsistently given out and sometimes withheld.
Management and work culture are abysmal. It does depend on what department you are in but not by much. Management will trash talk other departments and other management. Management will also undermine and disrupt the work day of other departments which is strange because the company has an emphasis on team work. 
Hours are unreliable in the off season, be prepared to seek compensation or alternate employment
During the busy season be prepared not to have time off and often work longer hours skipping breaks. Busy season is blocked for time off so requests are auto denied. Time off and sick time can be used against you so be careful there.
Be careful what you say and to whom, it is unwise to trust. 
In terms of an ordinary day be prepared to be confused and lost some of the time. Organization is not present, communication is poor at best and changes in method are rarely consistent but frequent.
Cleanliness and sanitation often are neglected for speed.  
There are perks to the job though they require weighing the poor aspects. 

You will be overworked, underpaid and under appreciated. Management is very two faced and sneaky. The drama at this resort is unlike anywhere I've seen. The company cares way more about making money than its employees physical and mental wellbeing which makes it extremely hard to respect the management. They will do everything to try to avoid paying you overtime and they start you at minimum wage. The housekeeping department is a mess and during the busy season it is extremely stressful. You get basically zero perks, maybe about 25$ in tips every 4 months. 50% off your stay in the only perk other than staff accom. The staff accom is a nice apartment but you will be sharing a room. It is not walking distance to the resort (about an hour walk one way on the hiway) and the bus schedule doesn't run on time on the weekends. 
Overall, avoid this place.

My team at the office is made up of fun hard working people. Our management is open to conversation and thinks about our wellbeing. We have a great culture and feel appreciated day to day. While smaller town location and economic conditions have caused the compensation to be at or below average, you feel at home and can really thrive if you have a great work ethic and fun, open demeanor. The work is not complex and you have the support you need to succeed with practice.

I only worked for a couple months due to the amount of gossip and lies circulating the workplace. Management doesn’t care when you bring these issues to them, and they only become worse. They will take complete advantage of you and work you until you cannot work any longer, some employees even becoming injured for long term. I would never ever recommend working here, as management itself creates rumours and gossip.

I love that there is room for advancement in the company and your hard work dose not go unnoticed management is amazing so friendly, understanding and supportive, the staff are great and it truely  feels like family I honestly couldn't imagine not working here I feel like I have found my forever home. 

They preach great teamwork, leadership and culture but in reality they are suffering in all categories. HR is great until you actually need help, and will ignore you and your pleas for help. Management is a joke. Culture is bad. Stay away. 

I have been on and off working here since 2015, starting as a housekeeper and working my way up to Guest Services. I cannot express the amount of positive changes that have happened within the company having a new general manager that's accountable and cares about their employees. 

Training was good, although not much training on PPE which would be better. Work was held to a very high expectation and it is a very busy job. Great learning experience but would not recommend staying long term due to it being such a fast pace environment cleaning.

There were good employees and they have a good coffee selection 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
The effort you put and the hours you spend cleaning is just super stressful

They don’t listen when problems arise, management was the worst I’ve ever encountered. Never gave ot even when we needed it to stay caught up. It’s basically a high school culture. Not even a decent working environment
