1 of your job skills will have to be a body guard for management when they fire some1,and if you tell them your not comfortable with that they ll tell you straightout if you say NO to them you just won t come back for another shift.
Don t ask about cut off dates,payday or a shop rate you ll never get an answer....EVER!! They don t pay for pre/post trip inspections of ther own equipment.They ll take half an hour from you daily for lunch even if you don t eat lunch,if you do stop to eat and they see you,your cell phone will start ringing!!!!
Speaking of cell phones your personal cell in now their cell phone and even if your driving a 15 ton truck on a icy highway they expect you to answer and if you don t they will ask you why you didn t answer even tho they know your driving,and that bill will be yours if you get caught!!!
If you end up in the working in the shop when your not operating you ll be dumping garbage,sweeping shop floor and probably cleaning the toilets,but i never let it go that far as i was pretty discouraged to be ther after the bodyguard thing(which i m pretty sure was a violation of my rights,which was total disreguard for my safety to protect themselves of course!!
If your from western Canada you will know right away that it really interested in keeping people from the eastern part of Canada,and even then out of all the people i met i never really met any1 who was employed there for more than 2 yrs,you should read between the lines on that issue alone and the operations manger will tell you with a grin on his face thats why he hires 10 guys at a time and thats why hes not stressed out by people leaving the company!!!

Don’t waste your time, do yourself a favour and stay away from Tuc’s Contracting Ltd. 

Upon getting hired you will quickly become to realize the Management is a true joke! They provide you with tasks that’s not achievable during the course of your day and then get mad with you when you don’t complete all of your daily task. When in actual fact they don’t give clear instructions due to the fact they don’t understand the task themselves! 

Don’t speak up or say anything negative as you will then not get any work or your work life will become very difficult. 

They have really have no training, they expect you to read their mind and know what they want done. 

Most unorganized company I’ve ever worked at by far. 

I’m hearing this was a great Company a couple years back. Today not so much…

SR Tuc’s management talks daily to other employees degrading other current employees. This is very unprofessional and disrespectful. 

You ask for answers from management and can’t seem to get a straight forward answer. Rather just a cat and mouse game.  Good trained employees don’t hang around this outfit long. 

Found the environment to be stressful, wouldn’t recommend. Maybe a good idea for the owner of the company to privately interview employees to discover ongoing issues and concerns. No employee should feel stressed daily or be threatened their livelihood daily by any manager. Zero people skills. 

Been working with TUC’S since 2017. With the Covid-19 ongoing I’m glad to report I’m still working and earning a good health living. 

I have no issues to report working for this company. After reading over some of the current reviews on this page it would make a person wonder what why do negative humans as I work with this great company and consider it a great place to work. Because you might have a bad day don’t mean you have to write an upsetting review on a Organization. 

I’ve worked fir Tuc’s contracting now for 6 months and it has been a great experience. The company  provides camp and a very healthy wage. Tuc’s have gone through some major changes in management in past months and it all has been for the better in my view. 

If you looking for a good place to work, and you just want to work and no worry about other driver I’d recommend Tuc’s.  Compared To other places I have worked in Fort McMurray Tuc’s is the better place hands down.

At Tuc’s Contracting Ltd you will quickly realize there’s lots of ongoing games being played. The first red flag for myself was when the acting Manager was showing around a former employee’s picture and talking down regarding that person in an safety meeting. 

Then I was promised a lot of things and different shifts which the company didn’t come through on. Bad environment, Supervisors & Management laugh at employees in a very disrespectful manner. 

The best part about this job was the guys I worked with were a good bunch.
They always pushed for equipment, cutting corners on repairs, telling guys to run gear with expired cvip’s , tank inspections ect.
Regularly asked to worked 16+ hours and hide my time on the following days time card.
Just an all around shady place with horrible management. Stay away, it’s not worth it.

No winter gear supplied 
Buy your own winter gloves or ware thin rubber ones with no liners that they give you. 
Some ppl get loa some don’t nothing is fair 
Site training is so bad there in such a hurry they should be using proper trainers and they wonder why there so many incidents with new hires. 
Maintenance of the equipment is minimal at best
I could go on and on !!!

Great company to work for.  Excellent leadership and management.  Supervisors are second to none.  If you are looking for a supportive work environment with room to grow, this is the company for you.

Currently working with this Group and can’t say anything bad only I’m making great money. Word of advice just like working at any company. Mind your own business and you will do fine and make good money.
