This company is a joke. Poor pay and no benefits. You are on the omnitrax   which monitors your every moment. They also have cameras that watch you drive and can listen to you talk. They say they don't monitor you yet constantly do. They send you video on your phone and complain about you eating driving moving your head activates it. Stay away people from this company. There are a lot of power trippers there. Dispatch is a joke. Management is even worse. In all my years never ever worked for such a joke of a company. They even make you sit and wait to call in for fuel. You need there ok to fuel up. The cameras are the worst part. Look out to the road. Look at your every move as they watch you drive and record your conversations. Not worth your time here. They lie and tell you they don't watch yet send all the drivers recordings and they save all recordings to use against you for future jobs or to fire you.

Micro management from a city. No communications on their lead hand who you will deal with more them actual management.  No benefits they will talk and tell you things til you challenge anything back .  They make it harder then it need to be.  Good luck I would go to Newmarket delivery or wrd before united.

A typical day at work as a city driver for United is great because we are home every shift. We work great hours, with great pay and new trucks. If you have the pleasure of working with United you will stay as long as you are in this career because of the employee appreciation, helpful and friendly dispatch and the ongoing training they provide (all paid for).

United is an amazing place to work if you are looking for a fast pace and rewarding career.  They offer a competitive salary and many employee perks. United is all about family and maintaining a good work life balance. They have been established for many years and I cannot wait to grow along side the team in the time ahead. 

5 am start circle check/ possible fuelng/differnet location
given a load/check to see if loaded properly/secure load/close trailer door/close warehouse door/secure saftey strap on dock/pin to trailer/do another circle check/raise landing gear/do logs for MTO/get exit pass to secuity gate/proceed to your 1st stop.

Scammers 
When u hiring for this company they tell u good may no deduction new equipment etc 
But when u get your cheque they deducted WSIB 3% every cheque late comming fine , refuse job fee , scam in hr.  etc 
They tell u 13 hr /day but u only get 8-10 hr 
Old equipment with lot of defects 
I leave this company in 1 month  . Not a good company and no job security

I have been with United for 6 months and I have learned a lot of the ins and outs of transportation. The culture and the wage is great. I feel comfortable and safe under the leadership team. I know they are continuing to grow very fast as a company, and I am excited to continue for years to come.

They treat every driver like you are an incorporated driver and try to you the least possible money but you have to work work work, they don’t like you taking time off for whatever the reason. Go somewhere else, go on welfare but don’t go to united.

I was a Truck Driver out if Cambridge. 
My direct Supervisor and the Operational Manager are the best bosses I have ever had, But the company is a HUGE mess.
Very unorganized, ZERO benefits for the drivers, and very very old and unreliable DZ trucks. New Tractors.

Lots of empty promises, 
Lots of deductions 
No load for longer periods of time.
Told me to pay something and will pay back, they never did and boss will blame it on you at the end not to pay the money back.
They keep changing your contract without asking for a concern.
