Where do I even begin with this joke of a dealership. The Vice President yells at staff every single day making them feel uncomfortable and unsure about their job. He threatens everyone, makes s****l comments all the time (r*pe jokes mainly). He acts as though he’s invincible, he watches cameras 24/7 looking for any little thing that can go wrong. Next the lack of communication between the managers is beyond frustrating one person asks you to do something then 5 minutes later another person asks you to drop everything and do something completely different, this goes on and on until the end of the day and by then nothing gets 100% completed, so that leads to the vice president getting upset with you and accuses you of slacking off when that’s the polar opposite of the truth. One second the vp is happy then the next he’s ready to fire everyone for no apparent reason. They force you to work and work and work until everything is perfect so you end up not taking breaks at all which also leads them to get mad because they’re so cheap that they dont want to pay you for the extra hour. You get promised the world and get told how amazing it is to move up in the company and how you can make tons of money yet they never deliver on promises, I know of someone who was promised to move into sales but 3 months later he’s still stuck in the same position being underpaid compared to other dealerships & what they pay for the same position. The restaurant is nice on Saturdays if they even remember you’re there and prepare the right amount of food however countless times I have gone without eating due to lack of food being made. I cannot stress enough to stay away from this garbage company, I regret applying here every single day. They seriously need to be shut down by the labour board

Horrible environment, the management threatens your job everyday. The VP screams at least at 1 employee a day. I know 2 people who developed depression working here. The only thing to keep you going is your teammates but in the end you cant trust anyone because everyone is always in fear to lose their job so to betray your team mate is normal here as you fight for survival to keep your job. Everything is over promised and under delivered. This all sounds negative but the in house restaurant is a huge plus. Staff is great, but with the VP watching you on cameras 24/7 with his "expensive surveillance" system that he has in his office constantly on his computer. You can ask customers and staff that this place has a high turn over rate. Lots of verbal abuse I still cant believe this establishment hasn't been investigated by the labor board, maybe because everyone is in constant fear of the VP. Do your self a favor stay away from this place. The VP is part owner he acts like he is invincible.

Was constantly told about how "were a family" and "look out for each other"
In reality: had different members of management give me different instructions without notifying other management members. So, everything would end up blowing up in my face.

Nothing was ever good enough for management, they kept moving the goal posts, meaning you could never actually grow and improve, just scramble to meet the new deadlines. Was never told good job once.

You never got off at the end of day, always have to work late, rarely got to go for lunch on time.



Understaffed would be an understatement, I was constantly running around doing different tasks with never enough time, with everyone getting mad that I haven't gotten around to their task yet.

After only a couple months i was burned out and exhausted beyond belief. Had to seek therapy.

It's well known the VP is hard on his employees. You can hear him screaming at management through the walls which sets the tone for the staff for that day. Expect to be feeling like you're being watched all the time. Because you are. Cameras are everywhere.
The employees make due with whatever happiness they can get from each other. You'll have some of the finance teams making treats to brighten up the day. The diner is a nice touch. I haven't had a restaurant in my job before
If you're looking for a career they'll promise you the world to keep you around but good luck actually getting it becuaze you don't know if you'll have a job tomorrow

There are some decent people here. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
The service advisors and service manager and lazy and don’t care about paying the techs properly. Paychecks are always short hours and when you complain, management doesn’t care.

Poor morale in the shop. The service desk and parts department are revolving doors.

Stressful trying to make hours.

Working at the Vickar Ford is everything I want to do with my future. Deal with people, assist people, and have challenges to overcome with every new day. It's exciting and thrilling. Sometimes the lack of job security can be a little nerve racking, but it keeps me active and keeps me aware that I must keep achieving and striving to do better. I have worked for some of the managers over the years and there has been pros and cons, but mostly pros. They have helped me become better and they push me to do more. I am all in all happy to work at Vickar Ford.

Can’t say there are any good parts.

Owner likes to rant and rave and curse at staff

The culture is nothing short of toxic

Waiting for it to end as soon as possible

This place is not a good place to work boss always whatching cameras while your working they treat like a  slave cant even take your lunch break they want you to just work work all the time boss can also be a bit condicending at times do your your self a favour dont waste your time applying for a job here

I have worked in ford dealerships for 30 years and this is by far the worst place I have ever worked,co workers are great,management is terrible,new service manager every 6 months or so with each being worse than the previous one,the owner likes to keep his super expensive cars in the shop to show off how rich he is,no one cares if techs make any money,RIP parkside

good techs in she shop, but advisors and supervisors have no clue how to manage. major issues when it came to scheduling time off, company seems to think they own you and control your life regardless of family and prior commitments
