full time work, monday to friday 9am to 5pm

It was a CD cases manufatuing company. I worked at the shipping and receiving departmet as a lostigics clerk. My job was to make sure trailers were proplerly loaded and off loaded at their destinations.

I learned alot, I learned how to use Access and create invoices with it.

Co-workers were really nice people, they were nice, caring and supportive.

Hardest part of the job for me was that I had to sit in front of the computer the entire day.

I enjoyed the people I worked with and I actually enjoyed going into work each morning. I felt the leadership team was great as well. They knew all of their employees on a first name basis and tried to make those personal connections.

A typical day at work depends on the department you are assigned to. You could be doing one of the following, producing cd cases, packaging, monitoring machines or labor work.

Some people I worked with, including my supervisor was nice and helpful but that depends on who you know at work. Some people or supervisors are unorganized and can't properly train the newcomers.

People always come and go in a short time and the company is very busy so it could be under staff sometimes.

Company is laser-focused on product development and delivering exceptional products and service. Products are industry-leading in terms of decoration, sustainability, quality and performance. 

Company is vertically integrated and develops it's own automation. 

Leaders are progressive thinkers and entrepreneurial



Good only if you work in "certain" department, you can have no skills and make mistakes and create mess for other departments, but you can still get promotion before probation. 
 Otherwise you get pathetically low salary and get worked like a slave.

Seeing good employees get laid off / resign one after another is making me sad and worried about my future and hate myself for being here.

Don't think you can gain experience with this low salary. This company do not do things properly, you will not learn any skills to survive in another workplace.

I have been working at Viva full-time. Definitely lots of opportunities for movement. There are several changes have been made to the management team since May to help improve accountability, effective workflow, and the culture. I have seen an improvement in morale with these changes.

I wrote as I would like to give fair comments to my ex-colleagues still working with this company.

My supervisor was knowledgeable, reasonable, supportive and always willing to share experience.  Albeit a little bit demanding but helping me improved a lot of my skills which is important for advancing to my current position in another company.  

My teammates were friendly and helpful.  In general, it was a nice working place and would be recommended to young people who would like to learn from work experience.

Overall, good working environment. Descent break timings. Only thing that make the environment bad at viva warehouse is competitive environment. With the given pay, they offer to you, they take more work from you than they pay u,

A typical day at work is busy but rewarding. I've learned the importance of teamwork and communication. Management is supportive and encourages growth. The workplace culture is positive and inclusive. The hardest part of the job is managing time and prioritizing tasks. The most enjoyable part is seeing the satisfaction on people's faces when they enjoy the food I've prepared.

I've never seen such a terrible company in my life.
So-called leaders are like dogs; they bite anyone they see, even if you haven't made a mistake. They'll find fault with you and bite you like a dog.

A typical day of work is to brown nosing the upper manager all day long. All the upper managers are not qualified for their jobs. They play favouritism. They take advantage of you. They micromanage. You have no privacy.
