Overall working at the Oshawa plant you’re always working 40hrs a week with mandatory overtime on Saturday’s once in a while. Benefit package is great,management is decent I’ve had more issues with operators on the line then management, one thing your learn with a job with a union is once someone finishes there probation period they will show you who they really are because they’re protected by the union. You get a $1 raise every year which is also a plus, I also think team leaders should be paid more as you only get 70 cents more for moving from an operator to that position.

Android is a pretty good company to work for, the people are great (most) 3 out of 5 Team leaders on midnights are really good corners headliners and crfm. Management on midnights is pretty awesome but being on midnights is hard to get a hold of HR I see why some don't want to be on midnights as you have a hard time getting a hold of your HR team. Would love to go back to midnights but unfortunately it doesn't work for my home life. Hands down third shift is the best shift with the best people, best team leaders and best managers! Keep up the great work third shift we see you 

Casual atmosphere, amiable co-workers, better than average pay and benefits for job the classification.
Overtime is available regularly.  
There are many four-day weekends through out the year consisting of paid Statutory holidays, and a paid floater, along with a generous paid, ten-day shutdown for Christmas and New Years.
 

Toxic work environment. H.r does nothing. If they do it's takes forever. 
 Doesn't not care about peoples safety. 
 They don't fix any of the robots. 
 Will ask you to work thru break. 
 No incentive. 40 degrees in the summer freezing in the winter.Billion dollar company and can't even fix the robots. 

Android is a good place to work when it comes to the people and personalities, but flexible hours are hard to come by, making it a less desirable place to seek employment.

Pay was very poor and management did not care to develop the team or boost morale in any way.  It became a toxic work environment.  Corporate was barely involved in anything and they took advantage of workers.  I would not recommend this place unless you are coming in at a higher position.

Over all fun place to work, as a new employee i think during the summer there is no so much due to reason i don't i don't know, still getting to enjoy my day to day as most of my colleagues are friendly and always want to help out whenever there is need.

lots of chances for learning, but you need to train yourself if you need some improvement and leveling up for management position. A lot of people come and go but they still keep people who are not working properly and always on medical leave which obviously not true. 

Your day to day work is repetitive but most of the time you work with nice people which makes the work environment better for all, some days are better then others man power can be a huge issue sometimes and getting ahold of HR members.

This company uses a lot of high tech equipment and robots for manufacturing automobile frames and different assembly lines. I guess that's why they expect the human employees to move like a robot..
