Worked here as an aerospace welder. The work itself was interesting and hands on, but very repetitive. The pace is slow, so the days can feel long.
Pay is decent to start, but raises are limited, so there isn’t much room for financial growth over time.
The work environment largely depends on leadership. Direction and expectations weren’t always consistent, which made it difficult to know what to expect from one day to the next. That unpredictability definitely impacted morale. Some coworkers were great and made the job easier, while others contributed to an already tense atmosphere.
Overall, it’s a place to gain aerospace experience, but the culture and management style may not suit everyone.

Most toxic and cancerous place to work, full of two faced management, poor communication, no internal communication between departments, no safety, poor damaged equipment, they treat you like a number they just need bodies on the floor to bid on contracts, you probably wont be doing the job you were hired for, do yourself a favor and apply literally anywhere else.

I have no complaints about the pay rate and benefits. But as a Forklift Operator/ Labourer in the welding shop, I have A LOT of complaints that all lead back to the man running the department. He'll lie, bully, intimidate, and shame you on a regular basis. And don't even bother trying to get something done about it, or you'll just lose your job, as he has the entire company wrapped around his finger because his department makes the company a lot of money and nobody wants to upset the apple cart.

The benefits are nice, and the pay is pretty good

You're co-workers, the lack of training, fights broke out while I was there.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Terrible, my supervisor would play games on his laptop during work hours and told me he would no longer be training or answering any of my questions.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
You show up, get yelled at for making your supervisor look bad then you work the day away.

Cliquey, toxic workplace environment, archaic processes and mindsets. Lots of "not my job, go talk to that person," mentality. 

The good people there are overshadowed by the toxic ones. One day things are good, the next who knows. Heck, even by the hour. It's like being in a relationship with an abusive bipolar.

Real management = next to non existent.
Pay = decent, but well below the worth of dealing with the toxicity.
Enjoyable part of the job = leaving.

Good starting job, but keep moving. There's more out there, with better people and working conditions.


A serious click going on with management. If you are not in the click you are out of luck. Supervisors are abusive verbally and management does nothing about it, and if you try a complain, they will lay you off as they just did with the best and fastest welder in aerospace. No chance of professionnal  advancement. Spending most of my time sweeping the floor as they have just enough work for the older one. They hire welder for aerospace just in case they need it. Not worth the money.

everyday is typically the same. i was in a few different departments so i had a little bit of variety. i worked in metal finishing, riveting and passivation. its a fast passed environment but also has its slow days. the co-workers were generally very nice and i had no issues working there. the best part of the job was the pay and the hours. the part i didnt like was not learning any thing new. its the same basic task everyday.

Not a whole lot they where onboard to bring health and safety up to par

Really good plus having open door policy really helped

Terrible company full of old unhappy employees - a miserable place to work. People fired after 12 years service. I was fired after five years.

Was a very fast past production shop that seem to have all their eggs in one basket for a costumer base. But when times were flush everyone benefited.
