WBM is a great place to work! The company has a great leadership team that’s approachable and friendly. Within the first few weeks, I had a great onboarding experience with an amazing group. It was apparent that their leadership team values new talent and wants to support your growth.  


In the short period of time that I have been with the company, they have invested a lot into my career and have included me in many great opportunities. The company is rapidly growing, and the opportunity to take on more responsibility and tailor your role to your skills and interests is why so many people have been with this company for 20+ years. They invest in their people and genuinely want to get to know you. The company often develops staff internally which makes it a great place to work and grow your career. The culture of the company is fast-paced and hard-working in order to keep up with their exponential growth. It makes every day exciting, challenging and unique!  

 
Another major plus for the organization is that they have offices across Western Canada including Vancouver, Calgary, Saskatoon, Regina, and Winnipeg. The ability to move to a different city and still be able to work for WBM is one major flexibilities the company offers. In addition to this, they allow for hybrid or fully remote options, making the work-life balance optimal.  


Like many companies after the pandemic, the office is quieter as many people have remained remote. When you do come into the office, you get to know some interesting people and there are lots of opportunities to grab lunch or connect with some of the great people who work out of the office.

When I started at WBM, I had graduated from Commerce, had done well in my first job out of school, and was simply looking for the next step in my career.  I started in a marketing role, and was given the opportunity to lead initiatives, travel to conferences and courses to learn and develop, and best of all, I was surrounded by people who were from all different walks of life and backgrounds, and were together in all wanting to be part of something great.   

I was able to advance in my role, my earnings reached the level that allowed me the realize the life and dreams I had for my family.  I was given the opportunity to lead and be accountable for the success of others, and as WBM grew, I was able to work with some of the top companies in western Canada as customers.   

Now as WBM has over 500 people and seemingly every day is receiving a new award from the tech industry, i see the company still as a family, with all those same values and spirit that made it so much fun on that first day.  The leadership is very focused on being a safe and special place for all, and their efforts to honor and celebrate our diversity is heartwarming.

I have a lot to be grateful for and I am not sure what my career and life would be like if WBM hadn't given me the opportunity of a lifetime. 

Was hired at "this place" in Saskatoon a few years ago at IT tech and made notice to them that I had a weak lower back (and neck) due to a previous snowboarding incident that left me unable to walk properly for almost 2 years and even with a doctors note stating that I required a quick standing stretch and shake every 30 minutes or so but that was not good enough. Management saw fit to have me drive up north for 4-6 hours (many times a week) just to change a screen in a laptop then all the way back even though I requested (multiple times) a spot right across the street or some other regular spot in town that would allow me to not aggravate my medical conditions. No good for them, I ended up herniating a disc (L5) and then also getting fired when I could not even stand or walk. Years later when I drive by I still can't bother to even look at the place. Worse place I have worked, they treat employee's horribly  then literally toss them aside. All this is evident by the amount of times per year they advertise for new techs. The pay is horrible as well, no real way to make any more money and there is always a rush to the next "job" because everything is done to the hour, this does not include driving time or time to fill out your work orders. Horrible place to work.

Workdays tend to differ with all the evolving aspects of marketing, but a typical day would include meetings, social media posts, content creation, and event planning. So far, I have learned lots about the innovations WBM have supplied their clients with and how they ensure an excellent service experience to everyone they work with. I have seen the amazing client relationships they have formed and kept. The management team is a group of extremely supportive and hard-working individuals. More so, the workplace culture at WBM is amazing. The atmosphere is welcoming, and everyone is super friendly. One of the company's core values is giving back to their communities and bringing them together. This displays their care for their employees, clients, as well as the communities that surround us.  As an intern, the hardest part of the job is adjusting to new working hours and getting settled into a routine. However, there have been many enjoyable aspects of this workplace including meeting all the lovely people, learning something new every day, being a part of a family, and succeeding not only as an induvial, but as a team. 

They are disorganized internally, there is never a process to perform tasks, no one respects any proper procedure and if there are any implemented processes, management will be the first to not follow. They start everyone off at the same pay scale regardless of your qualifications/experience. Zero care for employees. They do not care if you come in early or stay late, they expect you to work through ALL your lunch breaks. Any extra work done is never appreciated. They treat employees horribly then literally toss them aside. You get reprimanded when you bring concerns up to management. Stay away from this company!

It is a toxic working environment - where the Analyst are there to be yelled at more than to offer service. A leadership not treating their Analyst as valuable resources, where an emphasis is placed on burning through calls, instead of how much actual work or help is provided. It is not worth my sanity to be hamstrung by leadership that is not interested in setting clear, well defined, achievable deliverables that feel like a mutually beneficial exchange of my skills and time.

I have had an incredible experience working at WBM! The company boasts an outstanding leadership team who are always available to offer their support, and the employees are incredibly helpful and eager to assist in any way possible. The sense of community and the company culture at WBM are truly exceptional, making it a joy to come to work every day.

The interview process at WBM is incredible, providing you with valuable insights into what a career with the company entails. Moreover, the onboarding process is amazing, as it includes presentations from the leadership team, allowing you to gain a comprehensive understanding of each department and the overall company structure.

The workload at WBM is both challenging and engaging, presenting ample opportunities for personal and professional growth. With offices located throughout Western Canada, WBM provides the flexibility for employees to work from various locations, enhancing work-life balance. I recommend WBM as an outstanding place to work.

I am mid-way through my career and, like many others after Covid, I was looking for a change. I wanted to continue to work in Learning and Development but needed to explore what that looked like in a different industry. 

WBM contacted me through LinkedIn, and I was impressed by their interviewing process. We’re all used to the “top 10” questions asked by HR in interviews, but WBM took a different approach to recruiting. We sat down and had a real discussion to get to know each other; no pre-arranged questions about “describe a time when…”. It was like sitting down with a friend. I was able to share openly and honestly about my career journey and we explored how my goals could align with what they were looking for in the position. It was so refreshing. 

Two months into my new job with WBM, and I continue to feel supported and known.  This is a truly unique place, and I would encourage you to have a chat with someone on the team – this might be the place you’ve been looking for. 


Have looked at some of the other reviews and I’m deeply saddened by what I’ve read. In my own experience, the management and the other staff have been absolutely amazing and the pay is awesome as well. I would think that processes have changed since some of these reviews or it depends on the department and the person, similar to how any job would be. 

WBM gave me a chance. Coming from no formal IT background and working in health care, I showed them that I can do the work and with my own hard work and dedication to my team, it’s paid off. 

No one should expect their job at WBM to be easy. It comes with stressful days, no two days are the same. If you like jobs where every day is the same thing over and over, WBM is not for you. If you like an every day changing challenge with a fun team atmosphere who will help build you up as you grow in the company, WBM is the right place for you. Never once have I regretted leaving my healthcare job for here.
