The senior leadership at this company is by far the worst I have ever experienced (and I have worked in IT for 16 years).  They do not care about their employees and only care about money.  Yes, obviously you want to care about money, but they do not care at all about you and what you bring to the table. If you ever make a mistake this will reach your manager and it becomes an office of tattle tailing and finger pointing.

During COVID-19 they wanted to stay open, they did not care about sending employees home. All they cared about was selling cars and getting as much money as possible.  Do you want to work for a company that only supports the bottom dollar and not giving a care about the health of their employees?

Working in the IT department was horrible.  By far the worst experience in my 16 year career.  The management is lazy and all they cared about was themselves.  They took credit for work you did and insulted you if you did not volunteer to work overtime due to family commitments. They say there is "some" weekend work.  But they truly expect you to work 7 days a week, and the management themselves do not partake in any of these after-hours activities.

They use time clocks to punch in and out everyday.  And if you are salary based, PLEASE REMEMBER YOU ARE NOT GOING TO BE SALARIED HERE.  You are paid hourly. They monitor time clock punches and it goes even to the extent of them timing your bathroom breaks.

Within six months of being hired, I was told that I am not showing initiative.  BUT they did not provide any training, documentation or guidance. They refused to give me access to any system then blamed me for not pulling my weight!  

The work environment is dirty and smells like oil and gas. The technology they use is very old and the office is so quiet. Working there you did not feel like a part of any team, you felt segregated and alone.  It will make you sit in the parking lot and question whether you want to step into this place or just quit and take the hit until you find a better company.

worked here for a while (1yr) nothing but meaningless workplace drama certain managers have no idea what there doing on a regular basis your hard work is never realized there it was a waste of my time working there if you end up there start looking for some where else asap no job security what so ever seniority pretty much only applies to management the pay is meager they try extra hard to nickel and dime you every pay check its just a poor showing for a dealership again there are some great people there and its a nice place for the most part just management needs a major overhaul advancement is really who the boss is Friends with no qualifications needed also some of your coworkers are some of them if they don't like you will straight up lie to superiors but the funny thing is they will straight up buy it and act on that alone no HR if needed its like elementary school there place is a mess id avoid the bother but if you do go there the work is easy but there's alot of it at the same time such simple work is made even harder by incompetence which there is alot of there its not worth the terrible pay. again there some good honest people there but management is terrible as a former business student some approaches to issues or day to day management makes me cringe its like some of them are cavemen if you work there avoid the parts department most of the service department i guess the only part that's maintained with some integrity would be the detailing and front desk and some of the service advisers and mechanics other then that its a zoo

A typical day at Lexus was structured, customer-focused, and fast-paced. From the moment I arrived, I worked within a well-organized system designed to deliver premium service. My day usually involved greeting clients, coordinating with different departments, following up on service appointments, and ensuring every customer felt acknowledged and supported. The workflow required attention to detail and the ability to stay calm during busy periods.

Working at Lexus taught me a great deal about professionalism and consistency. I learned how to communicate effectively with high-value clients, manage competing priorities, and maintain the brand’s expectations for quality. The experience improved my problem-solving skills and strengthened my confidence in handling challenging situations.

Management was supportive and clear in their expectations. They encouraged accountability while also providing guidance and feedback. Their leadership style helped create a stable and respectful environment.

The workplace culture emphasized teamwork, respect, and high standards. Colleagues supported one another, and there was a shared commitment to delivering excellent service.

The hardest part of the job was managing peak times when multiple customers needed assistance simultaneously. The most enjoyable part was interacting with clients and being part of a respected luxury brand, where satisfied customers made the work truly rewarding.

My experience working here has been very disappointing. The work environment often feels influenced by favoritism, and opportunities for growth seem limited unless you are part of certain internal circles. From my perspective, language and personal relationships appear to play a significant role in who advances within the company.

Another challenge is that your immediate manager can become the biggest barrier to growth. Instead of supporting employees who bring strong experience or a different background to the team, it sometimes feels like those strengths are overlooked or not encouraged. This can make it difficult for capable employees to progress or contribute fully.

The management structure also feels unclear at times, with supervisors often being close friends with managers, which can create a perception of bias and reduce trust among employees.

It’s difficult to understand whether senior leadership is fully aware of what is happening on the ground level. There seems to be a gap between employees and upper management, and many concerns raised by staff do not appear to be addressed.

Based on my personal experience, I would encourage job seekers to carefully research the workplace culture before joining. I am currently planning to move on and look for better opportunities elsewhere.


I didn't want to believe the bad reputation that Wein's Canada had, so I went against my better judgment and accepted a job offer as a Financial Services Manager. First off, the role of a F&I Manager at ANY dealership is a complete joke; they are trained to be actors instead of real finance managers. Companies do not put any emphasis on truly learning the "finance" aspect of being a finance manager. They consider you to be 2 things only: 1. an actor 2. paper-work printer. One of the Sr. Financial Services Managers at one of the dealerships I worked at for Weins would purposely stay behind till MIDNIGHT, ON PURPOSE, out of their OWN will. Sales Managers would allow customers to come in and have a seat AFTER closing hours. Now although this is common amongst all dealerships, Weins Canada would take it to the extreme, and have customers come in, holding the staff back till 11pm-midnight some nights. Now tell me, does that sound like a great work-life balance? Sure there's potential to make good money, but at what expense? Not having a life? Not seeing your loved ones? The car industry is bound to change drastically soon. In another 2 decades or so, this over-rated position won't even exist. 

I was Service Advisor for 1 year at this location.  By far the worse place I have worked for in my auto career.  Think about it ... Weins Canada constantly have job postings ... reason...  high turn over.  The morale is very low and workplace is poisoned by politics,  stressful work conditions, unfair wages, lack of support from management.

- There is NO work life balance ...NONE!  The company comes first before your family.  

-Lack of support from management.  
You cannot make autonomous decision without going through a manager.  
Management does not keep track of all the extra days you work ... there no point of working extra days when management will not approve your request for time off.  When I resigned I still had over a week of vacation.  
Moreover, when you have personal/work concerns/questions management does not and will not support you. 

Wages
Techs and Service department staff are under paid.  Based salary for experienced Service Advisors is way below the industry standard.  The amount of time, effort and stress you put in does not match with your salary.  

As you can see from the other reviews ... there is a constant theme regarding poor management, low salary, high turn over and stress work environment.

There are way too many meetings to attend. The whole spiel in "watch your thoughts they become words" is like a brain wash session.  I'm not sure how that benefits employees. Management should practice what they preach.  If you want to work here, you better come with some training or skills on your own.  It's never clear how much you are making.  Perhaps they are penciling in the deals (who knows).  Most colleagues were my only saving grace.  Some management were good and will coach and some are about numbers.  I thought being written up is a thing of the past but Weins group have no problem writing people up, how is that supposed to motivate your team to do better. What you'll have is a lot of minimum deals.  Selling volumes to make more is the motto.  They flood the sales floor and hence everyone gets a smaller piece of the pie. Not telling you not to work there, but go see for yourself. They rule with fear; even the managers are scared, and they are told what to do.  

Working as a CEC Representative at Weins Auto Group was a fast-paced and rewarding experience. A typical day involved managing incoming calls, booking service appointments, and assisting customers with questions about their vehicles. I developed strong communication skills, learned to multitask under pressure, and became comfortable using internal CRM systems. One of the biggest takeaways was learning how to stay calm and professional when handling frustrated customers or managing high call volumes. The management team was supportive and provided consistent feedback to help improve our performance. The workplace culture was team-oriented—coworkers were always willing to help, and there was a shared focus on delivering excellent customer service. The most challenging part was maintaining energy and patience during peak times, but it taught me resilience. The most enjoyable part was connecting with customers and making their experience smoother, especially when they left the call satisfied and appreciative of the support I provided.

From the very beginning of the hiring process, the company demonstrated a high level of professionalism and care. Communication was always timely, clear, and informative, which helped ease any uncertainty along the way. The recruitment team made effort to keep me updated at every stage and responded to my questions with clarity. I was especially impressed by how approachable and accommodating the staff were — they made me feel welcomed and supported even before officially joining the team. I was receiving a detailed company handbook via company's portal, which thoroughly outlined the organization’s rules, regulations, and expectations. This not only helped me understand the company culture better but also allowed me to prepare myself for a smooth onboarding experience. Overall, the experience left a very positive impression and reflected a well-structured and employee-focused work environment

- During my employment I have hired and trained employees from diverse backgrounds. Due to their experiences I was able to develop myself as an individual as well as an effective/productive manager.

- The hardest part of my position would be when my Dept. would be short staffed and overwhelmed with work. In these cases, myself and other staff from different Depts. would get the job done.

- When my team and I have successfully accomplished all our duties with perfect quality and service even with all the challenges in a day.
