Laid off do to Covid unfortunately. For how big the company was it very much had a mom and pop vibe to it. Very reasonable company to work for. Pay was generous considering my experience at the time. If there was ever an opportunity for someone to teach me something they where willing to do so. From day one they put a lot of trust in me which I was not use to compared to many other companies out there that may treat you like you are inferior until proven othere wise.

Now with all of that said. I still had to prove myself and when the going got tough you certainly weren't paid to stand around and look pretty. Long 10-14 hour days 5-7 days a week if the weather was good. Which isn't the worst thing in the world since you always knew you would have the majority of the winter off so you would work as much as you could why'll the weather wold let you. Sometimes only one 30 minutes launch break all day so guys could get home a little earlier. But with that said you did have some days where you would have to hurry up and wait so it would balance itself out. 

Now this was just my experience with the few crews I worked with. Ya I'm sure there's a few bad apples but what company doesn't have them. Over all though I enjoyed it as the appropriate respect was given to those that showed there worth.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Early days short hours. These guys don’t work full time. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Sitting for weeks at a time due to not enough work

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Very cliquey and old boys club like. Too political

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Lazy start, poor communication from management and clients, start one task and shifted to another before completion

Busy, demanding and challenging job with amazing administrative staff and trades employees.
My particular posting was like a small family that was a very close knit unit.
My posting was very well managed by those that were on the management side when I had worked for the company. 

Great company to learn at and grow your skills. Equipment was always in good shape and the crews were pretty good to work with. Management wasn't always around, but it forced you to think proactively and come up with solutions to increase efficiencies and overcome challenges.

We waited patiently for months, trusting their word — but they kept saying “we don’t have work right now” without ever giving a straight answer or timeline. Would not recommend working here if you expect honesty, stability, or basic decency.

Working in the field the crews typically work well together. 
If you work hard and show you are willing to learn and take initiative you will eventually be rewarded with a raise..
They are a really good company to work for. 
Most management are approachable.

I enjoy working for this company as it employs a lot of great people! I get to the best of both worlds working in the office and field. They have a great benefit and safety program!

Ok place to work, definitely have their favourites. Crews don't stay together, constantly working on different crews. Equipment is generally old but decently maintained. Mechanics are quick to fix equipment. Pay on the lower side

Waiward CMI is very family oriented, they encourage a healthy work life balance environment.

Working there was okay but they are bush league and cut corners. The group of guys are great and some of the management is amazing. My foreman was lazy and never left his truck
