Wet n Wild

The fact that this workplace was fun was an understatement. If you make some friends the slides are always a blast. I would ride them after a pre-service training in the morning. Then we get ready to guard the water scanning are zones as we come on. Then you scan back and forth looking for patrons who need help. A few rotations will go through then you get a 30-minute lunch break before guarding the rest of the day. Finally, we clean up the park before going home. I learned you don't always work with people you like but to make it the best experience all you have to do is be positive and supporting. Management is important to keep things running smoothly and most importantly safely in a workspace. It's important to respect all cultures in the workplace whether they are the employer the co-worker or a customer. The hardest part of the job was the anxiety I always worry something is going to happen when it usually doesn't. The most enjoyable part of the whole experience was getting to enjoy the lazy river on my lunch.

It's a great place to work as long as you have a bright attitude. The customers can make or break your day if you let it get to you. Overall its safe when working in the back or front and it scheduling/trading your shifts have never been easier.

A typical day at work would be hot and very long

The manegmant was very nice there they were very understanding and they some times bring aro7nd slushes on hot extra hot days

There will never be a static day at Wet 'N' Wild. Everyday is a learning experience where you learn to develop your skills, meet new people and learn new things through the interactions you have.

This park will always put your safety first.

The day would start out slow at first, but once the day goes it will become fast paced and it feels natural to either have that feeling of wanting to stay and continue working or going home before the more customers.

you are put on a location in the park for an hour at a time, after an hour you rotate and move to the next location, lunch is between 10 and 3 and you have about half an hour off

Also was responsible for responding to any emergency that occurred in a timely manner.

I really enjoyed my time at wet n wild. They do a great job of accommodating for your personal life. It wasn't too stressful even though it got busy at times i enjoyed it.
