Terrible work conditions. This is an evaporation plant and it gets very hot in the summer and as a skilled trade you have to ware coveralls. Most of the maintenance crew are OK to work with but it is definitely a click. A couple are two faced and want you to fail to make them selves look better. They safety is a top priority but that is a lie. The skilled trades union rep walks through light screens to stop a machine without using any lockout. He is also the safety rep - what a joke. He believes co workers should work at the top of 40 foot ladders to install lighting. Good money, not safe, back stabbing skilled trades rep who will throw you under the bus in a second to make himself look good.

Union job with lots of training in a collaborative environment. Safety first environment

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Shift work. Getting everything done on time.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Respectful and collaborative environment. Supervisors are understanding kind and helpful if you respect their time. Co-workers in general get along well.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Intense work with equivalent of  paid 10 minutes breaks every 2 hours. Premiums and OT.

I lern a lot skills and Good comunication its a Good company to work

Was OK people was very respectfull , and work like a team

Wen we have miting and diner out for hollydays

If you don’t know someone or have someone who got you in good luck.. I did everything right and got let go for reasons that they can’t say. I didn’t nothing wrong showed up 30 mins early every day stayed over on a midnight shift for two weeks. Did all the overtime wore all my ppe still don’t understand it.

There are great people working at Lindbergh, but the head office upper management is out of touch with real life and expectations of people and their workload.

K + S was a good place to work except would not help a person find a place to live while on shift.  They were told I would not move there permanently but did not seem to care whether you had a place to sleep while working.

Management fails to listen to employees ideas. Lack of appreciation of quality work. Management hiring outside contractors to do work that their own staff is capable of.

Management has an archaic and arrogant approach . Very stressful and strained relationship between company and union. Quick overturn in office staff generally not a positive place to work 

Management will never say good job or take responsibility for their own actions. Have no problem lying to get what they want. Expect 100% loyalty with 0 in return

workplace culture was amazing, coworkers are a little too old and stuck in their ways otherwise their pretty good guys if you have a great work ethic.
