This place is great for gaining experience in the Provincial Offences sphere. Management is not concerned with anything save making money. The pressure to make sales is real. They will ask you to use fear to make those sales. Be careful to not agree to do anything that will jeopardize your licence. Your clients are not important to them, only the money they provide. Even lawyers at this firm are discouraged from spending too much time with a client. This usually means anything from reassuring them to telling the truth.
Huge turnover rate as most people who work for this firm realize that their self-respect is worth more than a cheap salary with no support.

Mostly understaffed offices, no proper help provided. They expect you to do court, review evidence, do sales and hit monthly targets along with a lot of admin tasks. However, everything is sham, all they really care about is the sales you do, even if you’re a garbage of a paralegal. 

In regards to salary,  you’d not hit a 60K no matter what they tell you. There’s no respect nor loyalty.
  The whole module of this company is designed to benefit the partners/ management and suck the life out of its staff. 

One of the most stuck up and egotistical organization I’ve ever worked for.

it was really great time, it was my first internship in a law firm which was related to my studies. i really learned a lot because it was practical knowledge, the management was really good the cleared all my doubts whenever required. the hardest part of my job was sometimes it was just reading for long time but after some time is was easy. the most enjoyable part of that job was that i went to court  to see how our legal system works.

This job was the worst experience of my professional career. I was not offered any support by management to grow and feel comfortable in my new role. The staff were rude and the manager could not bother to spend even 5 minutes to talk to me regarding my role and where I am at. If your a new paralegal I highly recommend you stay away from this place at all costs, they will act like they want to educate you but they only will like you if your bringing in sales right away. 

They are only here to make money by pushing every case as quick as they can and management is poor. Please respect your license and profession because if something gets bad they will be first ones to dis-own you. Do not waste your time, you can make good money by working for a lawyer in a small practice rather than this company.

You make a lot of money for them but you get nothing out of it.

More of a sales job than a legal job. Focus is on sales for the company and not about the law. Poor management throughout the whole company from the top down. Terrible compensation and benefits. Only positive is they pay for your license and insurance - they tell you during the interview and on-boarding that they also pay for your CPD hours, but they do not.

Friendly,  supportive, rewarding

Good place to gain experience, but the workload is heavy and the salaries do not cover the basic costs of living. The managers are supportive and advocate for you to upper management. I enjoyed working here, if only the pay was better.

It is a great place to start learning about HTA and Traffic offences and eventually become skilled in it. I was at HQ in Markham. The management was very supportive in teaching their own system as well as training the junior paralegals.
