Competition is very high. You must be consistent with uploads or else you will rarely succeed. Must be able to manage a business. You have to be business minded to get sponsorships and brand deals or else your pay check will be very small. A typical day is waking up early before the competition, and thinking of ideas and recording videos and editing them. It is a very hard field to master and if you do not meet a certain criteria eg. personality or likability, you will have a hard time succeeding. The hardest part of the job is that there are no days off. Family time will be cut and being in a room will be the majority of it. Since there is only one person in the business, you can do anything but that could make or break your career as a youtube content creator. The most enjoyable part is the interaction with other people who enjoy following you and being apart of a community that supports you.

A typical day working on video content, would consist of long periods of writing, scripting, vocal recording and editing. I'm not going to lie, days can get as tiring as you allow them to be for yourself. It's up to you to put in the work in order to be successful. YouTube is a highly competitive place, so staying on top of new relevant information while being able to produce outstanding content on a regular basis is no small feet, but it's unlike any job out there and I'd recommend it to anyone with a creative drive.

I do Youtube in my spare time out of school and do it as a hobby. i don't do it as a job i just gained certain experience doing so. i enjoy making videos for people to enjoy and i love getting feed back from my subscribers and people i know in real life.
