Yurek WAS a company I always wanted to work for and all was well until you pass your probationary period. 
Once that happens you begin to be treated like you are constantly replaceable, your opinions do not matter.  So no point in speaking up! Honestly best advice, don’t speak at all.
If you want to enjoy your life do not work here. There is zero work life balance you feel
guilted into having to stay late or pick up an extra shift. 
Best part is being able to help those in need, worst part management and HR. They make is seem like they are their for you but in reality if you have an issue they will be looking for a way to kick you out the door. 
Another win, is they are lucky to have some of the staff they have and they should be really sad for letting good ones go. 
I wish there were more nicer things to say, but honestly save yourself the headache, stress and fustration.

Seriously run. This was the most toxic stressful job I’ve ever had. There is zero staff appreciation. You do not matter to them. They only care about how much money is coming in. Staff are severely under paid and extremely over worked. Management has ZERO clue what they’re doing or how to even run the business. They constantly blame all the issues on staff and not on how they run things. They seem to think that treating staff like s*** will make them want to stay. Any time you look them up on indeed there are at least 6 job openings at any given time. There’s a reason for it. Run. Far. Away. There are zero incentives to work here. The bonuses they mention in the job description are a slap in your face, if you even get it. And raises are 1%. A literal joke. 
I would rate this place 0 stars but unfortunately that’s not an option. 

Was hired on, received almost no training for the role, and was let go because I 'did not fit in'. During exit interview, management could not give any constructive criticism about my professional abilities or indication on skills I could improve. During my time in the role, I wasn't given any feedback on work I was doing, thus I was completely shocked that I was not wanted at the company anymore. 
I had left current employment to join this company after hearing nothing but positive things, and was surprised to have a negative experience. Some staff was less-than-professional, making comments about and mimicking customers when they were not present. During my time there, I witnessed and experienced bullying behavior as well. Certainly not a place I would recommend, although the pay and hours were very good for the area.

I enjoyed my job at Yurek Pharmacy in St. Thomas for the majority of the time that I was there. At the beginning, I felt appreciated for my character and the work that I did. The team that I was working with was great and supportive and always made coming into work a positive thing. However, management was often inconsistent and unclear. There were multiple initiatives put in place that were not always forwarded to every employee which made for misunderstandings and mistakes. While the work itself is fairly typical for a pharmacy, you do need to be prepared for the clientele that visit the store frequently. 
I found the turnover to be high without ample time to train new-hires. 
Overall, it was a good place to work until it wasn't and I am happy that I'm no longer employed there.

The work itself is wonderful. Helping people get their meds

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Too much politics in the company at all levels. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Very toxic environment. People are just trying to cut each other down for no reason. The senior management keeps the people ta a bear minimum. The office is old with broken and damaged furniture.  The leadership team is not sincere. The information to the owners is not right in many ways. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
It was a lot of meetings from the beginning to the end of the day and not enough time to work.

Starting wage is LOW and will not be increased until you have been trained in multiple areas of the pharmacy, but there is no one to train because the manager is acting as an assistant due to high turn over and multiple senior and trained staff leaving. The work environment is not great, it’s crammed, lots of technical issues and not enough staff to maintain the day to day. It’s insanely busy all the time, the staff are constantly run off their feet, the phones ring off the hook all day and they keep piling more work on with no support from senior management or new policies implemented to ensure staff can complete the work.

Hands down the worst job I have ever had. The management is disorganized, unprofessional, condescending and more. 
If you have kids, or a family, or a dog, or cat, or just like to have a life outside of work STAY AWAY. You will be chastised if you need help, both personally and professionally. They have about 5 different "directors" of various departments, quality, pharmacy, delivery etc. and absolutely NONE of them are competent. I'm not even going to get started on the owner... CEO... HR etc. they are in their own category of terrible.

The customers are wonderful and loyal

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Absolutely no support from "upper management "

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Toxic. Very unhappy staff, very stressed out managers. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Customer service, dealing with a ton of homeless people, working on reports, endless meetings of no real importance

Toxic toxic toxic!! underpaid, under staffed, VERY poor management!! Upper management is ridiculous and HR needs a complete overhaul.  Extremely top heavy company making $$ off the backs of their poorly paid and under appreciated staff. NO BONUSES don't believe the ad....pizza lunch is not a bonus.  Yearly increases are an absolute joke.  My advice RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN from this place!!!!

Run. Don't do it. If you value yourself as a person please do not do it. If you have a family or a life run even faster, they're really good at draining you and you'll never leave on time. Manager is extremely rude, in literally all departments. Senior management is literally a joke. The owners.. they need clown costumes. It's hot mess express (literally and figuratively).
