My co-workers and Managers seem super supportive. Lots of parking and super nice office. When I applied I didn't realize how great this company is.  They provide you with a lovely onboarding package,  company shirts even for the office staff.  My co workers appear to be incredibly welcoming so far.  The training center is nice and the staff all seem to be very happy here. I saw one stressful incident so far but I don't think its something that happens very often.  I just hope people will continue to have job security here as they maybe went through a lay off at one point.  Overall it seems like a great place with amazing people.

Company events were nice to attend. Work autonomy

lack of guidance and blatant favoritism 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Every person for themselves.  High turnover and lack of overall direction from top brass. Management is more interested in saving themselves and justifying their own existence. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Prospecting and lead gathering.  Lots of administrative work and very little time for selling.

horrible management, all scheduling is day before or day of. repairs are always Band-Aids.
proper parts won't be ordered because they can't get or turn a profit from it but they will still send you with improper parts but still bill the client.
no bonus's, no honored promises.
watch your hours like a hawk. they take hours and never ask anything about it.
you'll be working with techs that have no real knowledge.  
techs will be told one thing and the clients another. 
some techs will burn hours others drink the coolaid. avoid this company for employment and/or service. 

A typical day at work starts in the morning ends in the evening mostly between 8am- 4pm, Its a challenging environment that allows you to use your initiatives to find the best ways to discharge your roles. The management structures has given room for participation in the growth of the organization. Workplace is a medium paced one, some workers could be bossy but the leadership takes care of most activities. The hardest part is the training process, it needs be well structured and streamlined to the job, the best part of the job is that it gives room for growth.

My  work day usually starts at 7:15a.m. I like to get be in the office earlier & get a jump on my day. I like to treat others as I want to be treated. I have a lot of respect   for my manager. Always being fair with the group,  listening to our concerns.  The hardest part  of working in the office is the gossip & people throwing you under the bus just to make themselves look better. As far as I am concerned we all should work as one. Interacting with the customers & doing my job to the best of my ability. Zelus Material Handling is a very successful company & I am very proud to be a part of the business

The people are 10/10. The job was easy for me to pick up, but not much “teaching” mostly just whatever i knew. If you arent a fast learner or a mechanically inclined person, this is not the job for you. Definitely underpaid for the skills i had. Overall it was fun while it lasted. I was there for a good time not a long time.

Serve out your apprenticeship and work your way to becoming a certified crane and hoist technician. Be it in the field performing regular maintenance, inspections and repairs to a diverse customer base or as an in shop technician.

Dealing with direct reports. Their needs and absence at times.

Excellent and outstanding. The best place I ever worked at.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Organizing work assignments for direct reports. Issuing drawings, submitting hrs.

The work is varied and you rarely do the same thing every day. I’ve learned a lot about cranes, and industrial equipment in general. There’s a lot of management. Workplace culture is...chaotic. With so many managers, it’s not always clear who is in charge of what. This leads to apathy on all sides. The hardest part is dealing with things that should be straight forward but have been over complicated or forgotten about all together. Also training people only to see them leave.

Awesome company to work for - I feel supported and challenged with my daily tasks and long term goals for the company - Team atmosphere at the branches, the techs seem to enjoy working with each other - cross-support for the branches is great for admin and the techs - Leadership Team listens and makes changes to support the progression of the company.  I have felt welcomed and supported from Day 1.
