Typical day at work is always exciting! You get to engage with so many different characters and always have the opportunity to learn. A typical day can include anything from coaching conversations, inventory, cash handling, paperwork and group events. 
I have learned a ton at adidas, the one topic I find I use daily is management coaching styles. Everyone has a different coaching style; respect goes a very long way and you have to approach each situation delicately. 
My manager and DM have always been super helpful and provide any resources needed at any time. The management team really does go above and beyond for their business and team members. You become a little family and everybody has a support system. 
The adidas workplace culture is quite unique in the fact that it is overly relaxed. You get to wear their comfy sporty product to work everyday. You are always learning and bettering yourself. 
The hardest part of my job is coaching staff at my young age, learning how to adapt to different scenarios and not always judge a book by its cover. Everybody always has something going on in their lives whether work or personal you have to learn when to listen and when to lead firmly. 
The most enjoyable part of my job is connecting, engaging, and inspiring with our customers daily! My other favorite is our little adidas family! At adidas there is families within families within families. It is amazing how many people end up being connected and engaging on such a high level! 
Adidas has truly inspired me to enjoy life and cherish every moment with everyone!

I worked for Adidas for a couple years. Throughout the years you start to see really how bad this company is. At the start everything was good, pay was minimum wage to start ( and it stays like that for a very, very long time) but as you stay there everything just turns you more and more sour. Upper management is a complete joke, it's all friends of friends running head office and the stores. From these friends and friends you'll soon see the complete incompetence that follows. If you are someone who works hard and has a brain, this might not be the best place to work. Any/all of your tasks or even sales go unrecognized, you only get contacted if you're getting in trouble for a lack of sales. Management at store level is just as bad as upper management, they're lazy and very slow at doing very simple tasks. The wage is slightly above minimum wage. Employees get raises for literally just standing there, sales targets and employee reviews are ignored completely. If you're making 4x the number of sales as someone else don't expect to get anything special, they'll get treated the same as you (unless of course you're buddies with management or know someone at HQ). Also, don't expect any promotions unless you know someone in upper management. 

If you're a hard working individual I would go against getting a job with the Adidas Group. 
If you like to lazily stand around and do nothing all day while getting paid then this is the job for you.

The team leader confided in me when I started that they have literally gone through thousands of people in one year, and most didn’t make it to the end of their first shift. Now I understand why. The work is backbreaking and repetitive.  The technology you use to do the work is unreliable and frustrating to work with and there seems to be no plan to either fix it or replace it.  They don’t train you on it and when you do have problems with it even the supervisors sometimes have no idea what to do. The staff I worked with were withdrawn and weird. I never got a single hello or greeting of any kind whenever I arrived at work. The company was fanatical about safety. Which is not necessarily a bad thing but whenever someone had an incident they didn’t just address the issue with the staff member they would change an entire process making other people’s jobs harder. Crazy. The place has some perks like free soup for staff but it doesn’t make up for barely being able to walk to my car after a 10 hour shift of palletizing boxes that can weigh up to 35lbs each at 50 feet in the air. After three weeks I was struggling to justify going to work when I got the email that my contract was up and I didn’t have to go in to work anymore. Hallelujah! 

Loved working at Adidas. People were great to work with.  Very clean, coffee,tea and hot chocolate available everyday. Our department had pizza days once a month.  Was there almost 3 years. Every 3 months they renew your contract. When they no longer need you, you’ll receive an email when you get home. Never will they tell you face to face. If you hope to get hired full time, it’s probably not going to happen. They always work through a temp agency. There are several shifts you could work. All shifts are 10 and 12 hour. Very long days. Expect to be placed in other departments if you get slow in yours. You will learn different jobs in the warehouse. That’s a plus. The more jobs you learn the longer you could be working. I was lucky, I got to learn 5 different departments to work in.  Some supervisors are not the nicest, so always appear busy. They don’t mind you talking but keep it to a minimum and move on. Adidas has bbq’s / ice cream days in the parking lot in summer. There’s a million sq ft of building. It’s big and clean. Can be lots of walking depending on where your department is.  Very large lunchroom with many microwaves and fridges.

i cannot believe adidas would allow a store to be run like this one. i guess as long as the store is making money then they do not care how its employees are treated. 

the manager, assistant manager, and majority of the team leads have no business being in charge of a lemonade stand let alone a store. they all have attitude problems and demand respect without actually deserving it or respecting everyone else. they do absolutely zero work and treat the people who actually do all of the work like garbage. they boss the minimum wage workers around, and then go sit in the office to use their phones, computers, eat, and talk. they take multiple breaks a day but will get mad at minimum wage employees when they take a break for literally five seconds. management gets all the praise for the store doing so well despite the fact that the minimum wage employees are doing all the hard work. 

it is evident that adidas only cares about management and money rather than creating a welcoming environment for all of its workers, despite preaching inclusion. 

Last summer (2018) through the Randstad office I started working at Adidas. It was great. Long hours but it was alright. People were great. About 3 months in or just before I got a call. Saying I was no longer needed. I originally was on the day shift. But i switch to the weekend shift for school. And once I got a call saying I was no longer needed I was like okay, maybe they can call me back next summer. I told Randstad over the winter break I could come in but they said I couldn't and they can't place me there. I asked to be placed there as I was looking for full time hours. Called in many many times, emailed many times, they said I can't work there anymore? Like they won't place me there. Even though there are ads and placements available all the time in their afternoon, night and shipping positions. And they write Adidas is looking for long term work. Just be wary of Randstad. They also sometimes mess up the weekly pay. I'm not sure what I can do to try to get a placement back there. It was a great environment. Not sure if anything can be posted underneath, but if it is possible do write any advice!

I have worked here for several years  and have learned a lot,  Supervior’s and management are 2 faced, mostly young kids as they are willing to work for what Adidas is willing to pay which is low. Supervior’s are immature and don’t treat there staff well. You will get yelled at for asking questions. They are constantly changing the way they want you to do your job which is weekly. 
Most managers and supervisors will throw you under the bus, and blame someone else for their mess ups. 
Wages are low job is very stressful. The company likes to waste money on  unnecessary things instead of paying better wages. Benefits use to be great but they cut them down.
Huge favouritism in the DC it’s the only way to move up in the company. 
I love my actual job but having changes constantly is very unprofessional when I have to deal with customer service related activities to do my job.
The managers and supervisors have never done the actual job they are managing or supervising so explaining anything to them is a waste of time and not understood. 
It’s a job for now.

A typical workday begins at half 8, Mondays through to Fridays. Being a collaborative work environment, mornings begin with responding to emails both internal and external. I learned the culture of the Adidas environment was quite chill and relaxed. Team members were knowledgeable and eager to help. There were lots of fun outside work stuff too.
A major challenge for me was training. Perhaps due to Covid lockdowns and work from home, the training in my opinion, was surface level in depth. It did not cover critical aspects of the job leaving one with more questions than answers or how tos. However, this was addressed by how teachable I was while learning on the job and the ability to teach skills held by my manager. The pay too was  very, very low compared to the amount of work, I guess that the price you pay for such a chill work environment. :)

Most days at adidas revolve around the day-to-day stuff, so sales associates are expected to work on the floor with minimal supervisor or assistance from management. Although the job itself is straight forward (building rapport, selling product, maintaining cleanliness), most staff are either young or seasonal which meant there were always some people not doing what's expected. Management won't alleviate the tension but instead play favourites, leaving some employees feeling uneasy or simply under-appreciated. Overtime the environment becomes toxic, so unless you're moving up in the company there's no reason to dedicate time to a dead-end job. As someone who spent years working for adidas and didn't get much more than the occasional "good job today", I recommend working some place with more recognition and respect for their part time employees. Unless you're a student or working seasonally for a few extra bucks, I doubt this is the job for you.

- Would begin the day by restocking items, and made sure the work environment was clean and tidy. Then we would open doors to customers, and I would be cashier my whole shift. I would do tasks of checking people out, doing many different types of purchase transactions, and greeting customers.
- I learned more about how critical it is for us to be perfect on the job, because it was critical to checkout people's purchases in a timely manner so we do not produce a huge line of customers waiting to purchase their items.
- Management was very friendly and helpful, they trained us very well so that we can be an efficient and effective worker.
- Co-Workers were all supportive and friendly as they would help each other out with problems and concerns
- Hardest part of the job was saying goodbye, because it was a great job and work environment but school prevented me from continuing to work there.
-My most enjoyable part of the job was interacting with customers.
