They mostly care about egg production rather than employees they don't even care about your launch and breaks so you have to skip the floor or work fast to make your time for the launch and the boss won't tell you about it unless some co-workers coach you because they do not put the launch and breaks even chores time on picking schedule sheet especially when you are picking two barns you have to skip daily chores such as drinkers coz of not having enough time which might lead turkeys to become sicks and have the virus, one other thing, if you are slow picker then you will miss the launch plus breaks,  just in case, someday turkeys laying eggs decreased the manger will blame on employees think that he/she did not do the work well, they are too good at backbiting about employees and the office always take the side of mangers. They never appreciated your hard work and train you properly,

Managers are lazy and don't cover breaks and expect you to pick two barns all day without covering picks to take breaks. Mangers expect everyone to do everything for them while they sit in there office all day and nap and get all the credit, than blame the pickers and ai crew for barns being down. Your constantly being moved farm to farm as a picker and can barely  make plans for the week ahead cause some managers don't post a schedule till late on a Friday as your going home. Also be prepared to replace your shocks on your car alot. All farms driveways and full of potholes and never taken care of but the people in the office and supervisors don't care to make sure they are graded at least once a year during a cleanout or filled the potholes at least as they happen cause they get new trucks every couple of years to drive around and don't have to worry.  Don't worry if that sounds bad you'll at least get a free turkey once a year for Christmas. 

Pay was okay.
However being on the Artificial Insemination team was not fun at all, Assistant Managers are not capable to lead a team, lots of back stabbing and trash talking about employees. This company did not allow us to use proper solid gloves to catch birds so you always end up with swollen hands and bad infections due to scabs from catching birds, cuddy had too much favouritism in the workplace, so much politics and absolutely no protection for the employees specially new hires, lots and lots of heavy lifting which may cause lots of body injuries, I wouldn't recommend this job to anybody for sure!  Also HR are very unprofessional, they will hear a story from the managers of the farm and will believe it without hearing your side, which builds a very bad atmosphere between the company and the employees.

I worked at Cuddy’s in the cropping division. It was a small team with father-son  management. They were great people to work with and very easy to approach, they taught me a lot about farming and very patient with my lack of knowledge. Cuddy’s as a whole is a good place to work. The only problem I had was the wages were alittle low but that is farming. Lots of overtime during the busy seasons and great people to make the long hours go by quickly with. 

The job provided ample amount of hours during the summer and throughout the year, however there was one critical flaw. Management was absolutely terrible. Petty workplace arguments led to unsavoury job conditions. Management was too relaxed about employee safety, and often put employees in dangerous situations due to lack of proper equipment and procedures. I would not work for this company again.

I wasn't being paid my worth, especially when they were paying other substandard managers the same wage as me.
The company has able people to manage but they won't take the management position due to low wage 

Cuddy farms is well organized. They do many things with poultry. They look after birds and eggs in barns and factories. They offer great compensation for all of their workers. They have flexible hours for employees. Overall cuddy farms is a good place to work.

As someone who worked here for a while, I can easily say that it is a fine place to work, if you can get past the potential lung infections and rather uncomfortable working environments. Having said that, If you've grown accustomed to farm work over the span of your life you'll find it a cakewalk.

Great employer with exceptional learning opportunities in an agricultural laboratory.  I performed laboratory microbiological and feed testing as well as laboratory equipment maintenance, laboratory supplies management, and laboratory cleaning and sanitizing.

I liked working at Cuddy Farms. It's the best place I ever worked at. I highly suggest people to work at Cuddy Farms. If your scared of turkeys/animals it's still okay. I am a person who is scared on animals, but while working at Cuddy Farms I feel less scared now. The management is great.
