Some great accounts and people employed there! Remote work environment & casual dress.
Primarily auto travel around your territory, calling on dealerships, fleet companies, and wholesalers encouraging them to sign-up, list & buy vehicles weekly in a fairly drawn out auction format. Many buyers complained at high prices and time wasted watching, bidding, & not winning on used stock and paying sales & buyer fees on top of it! Not to mention ARBITRATION complaints from both buyers & sellers for undeclared items.  

Getting clients signed & listing vehicles in volume is not enough, as you are measured on Sell conversion of your units listed. A hotly rumored "Preferential Unit Placement", early in auctions, was often discussed by staff and customers giving way to those who have big dealer groups signed. 

Managed from afar, with little interaction may not be for everyone with little face-to-face with management outside Teams/Zoom.
 
Depending on your experience, the most difficult challenges are the established competition, & convincing customers to list vehicles at wholesale prices to sell, in turn for others to retail in a competitive, high demand used car market...Depending on your territory support, and how established your territory is could be the difference.  Juggling your time & efforts to see a single vehicle sale isn't for everyone when Conversion % rules! Don't hit your sales markers, you don't get paid commission on any sales or buys. Not many salespeople are in it for the Salary that's for sure!  Were told there are some TSM's who do very well but very inconsistent in our region.

Work with them for a year and a few months, when I started I was in Vancouver, there was lots of cars for me on a daily basis. Then about six months into it my hiring manager quit leaving us floundering, he was the person we delt with on a daily basis. About two months after that I moved out to Calgary and continued my work, the management system was completely different in calgary. Instead of having a middle man between me and the sales persons (who are very vested in there clients any tiny little issue would upset them) so they don't care if they go though a bunch of photographers so long as there clients are happy.

This is a young company trying to make it into a well kept market and they don't have a handle on things within management.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Freedom, no managers to micro manage and be over your shoulder at every moment. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
There's so much freedom that sometimes it's easy to get sidetracked and lose focus. Very remote company. Employees are spread across the country with little to no supervision. Dealing with some customers can be extemely difficult. They come to retrieve their vehicle that had been towed to our lot because of undesirable situations. They take their anger and frustration out on you. Sometimes you are the only person at the location, safety can be an issue.

Being on the road working with dealers

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
No leadership and micromanagers at its finest who manages your day to day schedule and have your travelling back and forth all over your territory.  At times you'll be crisscrossing with other capture reps. Managers need a course on how to manage, time management and geography of the set territory. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
It's not bad but you work outside in all weather.

great software's, great organizational structure, very well organized good work shift, a lot of positions remote

it is hard to escalate, and salaries are not good enough compared with the market

it is good, you can suggest improvements

Drive cars from pick up location to drop off location. Use a phone app to snap pics of vehicle. Because of the low full time wage, this would attract less then stellar workmates. People with emotional problems and drug dependencies are the ones becoming your workmates. Management was made aware of various episodes but never corrected their mistake, instead continuing to hire more of the same.  Very unhealthy workplace. 

The work culture is poor, the management is impolite, and there is a lack of leadership and organization. Employees do not receive any benefits, the job is incredibly stressful, and the company fails to provide personal protection equipment.

Great place to work. Managers and co workers always there to help. No one is pushy .
Only drawback is using your own vehicle and having to drive a big area. 


Great place to work,  Winters are hard but great place to work. Lots of benefits, i have a great manager. If you can work for logistics i would highly recommend. 

The benefits and the work-life balance is good. The environment is positive and the team is a hard working lot. It is a positive working experience .
