Spent more than six months setting up eXp Realty's first office in Canada. eXp Realty did nothing to help! They used my time and got me to pay most of the cost out front. They never provided any help to grow the Ontario market.
They decided to close the Toronto office with only two weeks notice leaving everyone licensed and in management without a place to work or hold their licenses. The CEO and President could have cared less about anyone in the office. They closed access to our company emails and company site so we could not tell anyone about how bad they treated us. 
Their are many very good Real Estate companies but I would recommend NEVER GOING NEAR EXP REALTY.

Deep, quality resource and accessible knowledge base, tech enabled, positive partnering and open sharing culture.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
having to navigate the enabled system yourself (but not by yourself) to find solutions and hold your own hand in every way to achieve results. It is the new way anyway and one can get comfortable with it.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Not worth mentioning here :) Wasted opportunity

This real estate brokerage is a game changer. Offering opportunities to upgrade skills and knowledge, hands-on supportive administration and staff. There are income streams including bonuses for joining the team and for bringing in other agents as well as stock options. The office is entirely cloud-based, with platforms integrated to ensure all agents have the support they need to do their job to the best of their ability. The culture is collaborative, global and growing all the time. 

Monthly brokerage fees are quite highly and costly in how traditional brokerages charge their agents. EXP is substantially less and you receive the same value, if not more, than other brokerages that charge you double, if not triple.

The one thing that you have to do is your own paperwork and own admin tasks; however, this is quite easy if you know what you are doing.

Ultimately the EXP model helps you keep more money in your pocket. I recommend it for a new agent trying to establish their business, or an established agent who is looking to increase their earnings.

I joined eXp after working at a traditional brokerage for over 10 years. So far, my overall experience has been positive; I really enjoy the cloud-based structure. The company provides endless training opportunities and resources to help you grow your business in the right direction.   However, I believe that if you are a new agent, this may not be the best starting point for your career. You might want to consider a more traditional brokerage where you can receive face-to-face training and support initially, unless you have an active eXp team nearby that you can join.

As an agent its up to you to run it and bring in business. eXp is the first cloud brokerage where you do in fact own your business. The tech is amazing I can now grow it without having to be a broker. The costs ultra low and if you take time off it will only cost you $100/month. The compensation model is amazing and will create an exit strategy and a legacy once you grow it. If you are entrepreneurial in nature you have to check it out. Otherwise good luck showing homes until the end.

Standard Residential Parking Permits are for parking your personal vehicle on the street when you live in a ground-oriented dwelling at eligible addresses within a Residential Parking Zone. Residents are allowed a maximum of three Standard Permits and two Visitor Permits.

Once your permit is approved you can park anywhere in your restricted zone. Permits are not transferable from one restricted zone to another. You can get a ticket for parking in permit restricted zones without a valid permit. If you live in a larger multi-residential building, you may need a different permit.

I have been with eXp for close to a year now.  There were some challenges initially due to the exponential growth of the company in such a short amount of time but now the company is in a good place.  Management are always there to offer support when required however my experience has been that they trust their team's ability to get the job done effectively so there is zero micro-management.  I'm excited to see what the company has in store for the future!

Fantastic company that supports the realtors 100%. Excellent training for all levels of realtors and everyone helps each other as it benefits them. It's nice to have a supportive management team, a supportive group of realtors along with staff that answers your questions at all times. Overall excellent benefits for the realtors with low monthly costs.

Procedure changes .. still a work in progress, but it’s coming along. Growing pains :)
