I think this company has a lot to learn. They may be better than other companies culture-wise but they still have a long way to go. I think in my department and even upper management they don't take many vacations, I also tried to take sick time and had to work through it, or wanted to take vacation and ended up having to change or remove my time. I think they talk a lot about encouraging time off to rest and recharge but they don't model it from the top down and I also think it is weird that vacation for everyone is capped. Upper management has the same weeks as staff and it is not much. Year over year there is no vacation increases for people who have been here for years. Personal days are given but they also double as sick days so you kind of to save them just in case. I also find it can be very clique-y at times for people who were here before remote work vs the people afterward. I went to some work events where most of the people talked about the olden days and parties they had and people who used to work here and I and other new people have nothing to contribute to the conversation. I think if you talk about an inclusive environment and a great culture, it should be and feel inclusive for all events. I think this may be just my department but I find some management training may be beneficial. My manager has a hard time trusting staff that have been here for years, or even doing those 1:1s. I also have seen my manager provide negative feedback to a team member publicly and in-front of the rest of the team, which is something we learnt in a workshop not to do (ie all negative feedback should be given privately). They probably thought it was ok because the CEO also did it once in a meeting we were in to an employee. It was not done harshly and the words were phased as I encourage you to do this but the individual was clearly embarrassed. I think she could have accepted what that person had provided and then spoke to them privately.  I think other than that Endy is fine. 

The company cares more about its external image, social media and getting best workplace awards than actually improving the culture that exists, its all for show and isnt real. Leadership does not take feedback well and tend to fire people that disagree with them. HR is cliquey and gossipy and they are not approachable or supportive, managers don't want to hear your concerns. There is no growth opportunities for people that actually earn it, and promotions are based on favouritism. My manager has shut me down for growth opportunities because they favour others that they'd rather promote. Your opinion does not want to be heard by leadership unless you agree with them. 

This company encourages new ideas and speaking up but when one does, it is not appreciated. It actually sometimes puts a target on your back by leadership. Things have been done a certain way for so long, it doesn't seem like they appreciate change too much UNLESS it's a change initiated by the leadership team. I've seen people get let go with my own eyes time and time again for reasons I wouldn't understand, they don't even need a reason. If you accept a position here, just be warned that you'll feel uneasy about job security...a lot. 

Toxic culture, there is a reason why there is very high turnover. The company puts a lot of focus in increasing social presence but not enough focus on improving the work culture. I feel pressured to speak up in company meetings as you get put on the spot. I also feel pressured by my manager to go into the office frequently even though they claim to be remote. This is not a place where you can grow and develop in your career.

The office is very nice and the people are great. Atmosphere for the most part is light and fun. However, be careful about accepting a position here as leadership changes their mind quickly and often about positions within the company. Changing their minds on a role and removing it after a short period of time occurred numerous times while I was there. Leadership objectives seem short term with no strategic long term direction communicated.

This is a young company who are still working out who they want to be. I have witnessed a culture of hiring and firing, and if you challenge the status quo, it's not appreciated. Expectations, goals and roles change on a dime, with little direction.

They openly say they hire young and inexperienced people they wish to follow the Endy way. 

If you are more than 5 years since graduation or have family commitments, this place isn't for you. Obvious biases are in place.

Throughout my time at Endy I have worked with amazing people and have had a positive employee experience overall. This is a company that challenges you to be your very best and supports you to dream big and achieve big things. This company truly cares about your personal wellbeing and there are a lot of initiatives in place to support you physically, mentally, and professionally.

I am incredibly proud to be able to say that I am part of the team at Endy! It is great to be surrounded by inspiring people in a positive working environment every day. Your input truly matters here. The work culture is like no other, and we were able to preserve it even after switching to remote work! If you want to work for a company that cares, Endy is definitely a great option.

Worked here for almost a year now and it's been such a rewarding opportunity! Things can get really fast-paced around here, but it's a fun challenge and gives you the opportunity to take ownership of your responsibilities and your growth.
