I love my job, But I have No Security and Benefits, would like full time hours.

My typical day is checking the voice mall and respond to the messages.
Answers all the income calls
checking on the Schelling, to make sure No one is double booking or wrong booking under the wrong tech.
Have 4 room and 4 techs everyday. Make sure the techs show up to the day and time.
Booking appointments for U/s or Dr"s office or Embryology or Nurse meetings, counseling meeting, for all Five clinics.
pulse still have to do my balancing for Mississauga, everyday.
calling and reminding patient about there appointments.
scanning all the documents in to the patient charts.
We have two systems that we use. Oscar and Stimms. I am in charge of Stimms, Any problems everyone calls me. Stimms is were all the images are send too and send off to the radiology.
So its a busy day, with the phones going crazy.
Every day this must be done.

I work with Great people, I am grateful, for that. But the management is in need of work.

The hardest part of my job is seeing how many people are having a hard time conceiving a CHILD. Just so sad.

Enjoyable part of my job is went a patient comes in with her baby and showing us of how happy the family is.

- Typical shift is from 6:30AM to 1:00PM, with some days being extremely busy and other days being incredibly dead.
- There are specific ways of doing tasks at Newlife, and if not followed can lead to written warnings and termination.
- Management does not care about the mistreatment of employees from doctors and will try to do whatever they can to please the medical director.
- The medical director himself is not a bad person, it is mostly due to the poor upper management that Newlife is a horrible place to work at. 
- Workplace culture is toxic, as it is very 'cliquey' and most doctors treat their co-workers terribly. Hard work is rarely recognized and employees are constantly pushed to give (sometimes beyond their scope of practice) without getting anything in return.
- Underpays their staff and raises are a rare occurrence.
- High employee turnover due to the toxic environment, demanding requests and low pay.
- Hardest part of the job is having to deal with some of the (sometimes) unreasonable doctors. However, it is important to note that not all doctors at Newlife have this negative reputation.
- The most enjoyable part of the job is that you get to start and leave early.

My time at Newlife Fertility Centre was unfortunately characterized by a toxic work environment. There was a lack of support from management, creating a high-pressure atmosphere where mistakes were met with excessive criticism rather than constructive feedback. Communication was poor, leading to confusion and unnecessary stress. I frequently witnessed favoritism and a lack of respect among colleagues, which negatively impacted morale and teamwork. This ultimately affected my well-being and made it difficult to focus on providing quality patient care. I would not recommend this workplace to anyone seeking a positive and healthy work-life balance.

Most employees who are not Doctors are treated poorly. There are few Doctors that are nice but others are disrespectful and are on a power trip. There is no HR department, therefore if any issues arise the management will always side with the owners. The owners are concerned only with money. They would rather make you do the job of 2 people instead of hiring more people.

Very unprofessional workplace that would throw you from department to department without any real training. There’s middle management, but nothing actually gets done unless the micro-managing owner approves. 

They will hire based on referrals, but if the referral isn’t to their standard they’ll involve you in the firing process. Very odd. This place cares about numbers over quality, but you’ll be lucky if you figure out what numbers you should actually be hitting. Points because they’re very relaxed in terms of schedule, but the stress this place brings is not worth it for just above minimum wage. Avoid!

They only have 1 day sick leave here. I’m not sure if this is even allowed, according to labour laws this should be at least 3 to 5 days. You’re required to do the job of 3 people with mediocre pay. They do not give a pay raise unless you ask them to. They are not really patient-care oriented here, they only care about profit.  Management is chaotic. Workmates would entirely depend, some like to gossip some don’t. So stay away from the drama. They do give their employees pizza parties from time to time though. Apply at your own risk. 

I’ve learned a great deal, and the staff has been incredibly supportive throughout my time here. The workflow can be quite demanding at times, with high volumes of work coming in, but that’s something you can expect in any job. Overall, it's been a valuable experience with a great team.

I started my work as a new employee and trained me very well. The management of the company is one of the best of I've ever seen. I feel that I found new family that support me. To all workers and managers I should say; thanks
