Are you someone who enjoys working outdoors, solving problems, and taking pride in maintaining beautiful spaces? We are looking for a reliable, hardworking Full-Time Maintenance Technician to join our team at our unique luxury camping resort.
Nestled within a 200-acre horse farm, our property features 14 luxury camping accommodations surrounded by forest, offering guests an unforgettable nature experience. This is an active, hands-on position with the majority of work performed outdoors throughout all seasons.
Responsibilities
Our Maintenance Team is responsible for the general upkeep, repair, and appearance of the property, including:
- Performing routine maintenance and repairs on luxury accommodations and outbuildings
- Basic plumbing repairs and troubleshooting
- Furniture repairs and general carpentry
- Interior and exterior painting
- Tree trimming, brush clearing, and general grounds maintenance
- Wood chopping and firewood preparation
- Snow removal during winter months
- Basic vehicle and equipment maintenance, including oil changes and routine servicing
- Assisting with seasonal property setup and shutdown
- Setting up and tearing down equipment for weddings, corporate events, and other special events
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for guests
- Identifying maintenance issues and completing preventative maintenance tasks
Qualifications
- Experience in general maintenance, construction, landscaping, or a related field is an asset
- Comfortable using hand and power tools safely
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, painting, carpentry, and mechanical repairs
- Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting, carrying, bending, climbing ladders, and working in varying weather conditions
- Self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills
- Valid driver's license with reliable transportation preferred
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Flexible schedule, including occasional weekends and holidays during the busy season
Pay: $25.00 per hour
