Responsibilities as Site Supervisor
- Supervise and coordinate construction projects from start to finish
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans
- Oversee and guide construction crews in various tasks such as tile laying, masonry work, flooring installation, and general building activities
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes
- Utilize hand tools and equipment effectively
- Coordinate with subcontractors, the General Super, and the Project Manager as required
- Monitor project progress and address any issues that arise promptly
- Provide carpentry and general work as required such as hanging doors, installing door hardware, backing, installing washroom accessories, etc.
Responsibilities as Carpenter
- Provide carpentry and general work as required such as hanging doors, installing door hardware, backing, installing washroom accessories, etc. across numerous job sites.
- Some junior supervision required such as being eyes and ears for the Site Super and making some decisions.
- Room for advancement if wanted.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Utilize hand tools and equipment effectively
- Monitor project progress and address any issues that arise promptly
Skills/Requirements
- Must have your own working vehicle, this is non-negotiable
- Must be willing to work and show up to site on time - be reliable
- Having your own tools is a bonus but not a requirement
- Past experience required.
Salary will be based on what you're able to do on site.
