We are seeking a skilled Solid Surface Installer to join our team. This role involves the installation of solid surface materials in residential and commercial settings, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and customer satisfaction. Duties
- Measure and prepare surfaces for solid surface installation according to project specifications and blueprints
- Cut, shape, and assemble solid surface materials using hand tools and power tools
- Install countertops, vanities, and other surfaces with accuracy and care
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical instructions to ensure proper installation
- Perform related carpentry tasks such as framing, caulking, and sealing to ensure a finished look
- Utilize flooring installation skills where applicable to ensure seamless integration with existing surfaces
- Use handyman skills for minor repairs or adjustments during the installation process
- Maintain a clean work environment, adhering to safety standards at all times
Experience
- Proven experience with hand tools, construction, or carpentry work is highly preferred
- Prior experience in flooring installation or tile laying is advantageous
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately
- Knowledge of caulking techniques and finishing details required for professional results
- Experience with handyman tasks or general construction enhances versatility on the job site
- Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team are essential for success in this role
Pay: $17.85-$38.05 per hour
