Duties
- Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and quality standards, ensuring freshness and presentation
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, to process customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling and providing correct change
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, utensils, and food preparation areas in compliance with food safety regulations
- Assist customers by taking orders, answering questions about menu items, and upselling additional products to enhance sales
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service and minimize wait times
- Follow all food handling procedures to ensure safety and prevent contamination or spoilage
Experience
- Previous food service experience in a fast-paced restaurant or food industry setting is highly preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar cash register technology
- Demonstrated ability in food preparation and basic math skills for accurate transactions and portioning
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Experience with cashiering, serving customers, and upselling menu items to increase sales performance
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during peak hours
- Kitchen experience or restaurant background is advantageous for understanding workflow and hygiene standards
