CBDC Humber is seeking a highly organized, customer-focused, and motivated Client Services Assistant to support our day-to-day operations and help deliver exceptional service to our clients. This position is ideal for an individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working with people, and has strong administrative and organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities
As a Client Services Assistant, you will:
- Prepare and process loan documentation, including legal and security documents.
- Administer documentation for various programs, including the Consultant Advisory Services Program, Business Valuation Program, and Entrepreneurial Training Fund Program.
- Utilize Sage 50 Accounting software to support office operations.
- Follow up with clients regarding NSF payments, delinquent loans, and collection documentation when required.
- Respond to client inquiries and direct them to the appropriate team member.
- Create and maintain client profiles and assist with social media management.
- Conduct annual account maintenance follow-ups, including obtaining financial statements, insurance documents, and updated contact information.
- Provide backup support for other office positions as needed.
- Participate in client monitoring activities, including occasional site visits.
- Coordinate client training sessions, workshops, and community outreach activities.
- Work collaboratively with partner organizations and stakeholders.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications
- Diploma in Office Administration (minimum)
- At least one year of office administration experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Proficiency with Sage 50 Accounting
- Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal
- French language skills are considered an asset
Requirements
- Three professional references
- Valid Newfoundland and Labrador Driver's License
- Access to a reliable vehicle
- Clean driver's abstract
- Clear code of conduct record
