Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and drink orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS
- Prepare and serve beverages, including cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic options, adhering to all food safety standards
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar and dining areas, ensuring proper food handling and sanitation practices
- Manage multiple tables or bar stations efficiently through effective time management
- Assist in opening or closing duties, including restocking supplies and verifying food safety compliance
Skills
- Proven experience in restaurant or food service environments with strong customer service skills
- Familiarity with POS systems like Micros POS for order processing and cashiering
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours
- Strong math skills for accurate cash handling and basic calculations
- Ability to serve guests professionally while maintaining a positive attitude
- Experience with food industry operations, including serving, bartending, and hospitality best practices
