Overview
I am seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaner to join my team on a casual/part-time basis. Prior experience in cleaning is a plus but not required, as training will be provided. More than anything, I need someone who is available, driven, capable of working independently and diligently, trustworthy and reliable. Looking for someone who can start ASAP throughout the summer, mostly on weekend, but weekdays as well, with the possibility of extension to the end of October.
Responsibilities
- Stripping dirty laundry, and restocking items from storage room
- Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces in small cabins & cottages
- Handle trash removal and waste disposal
- Capable of properly cleaning kitchens & bathrooms
Qualifications
- Previous experience in cleaning, commercial cleaning, or facilities maintenance is preferred but not mandatory
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that may involve standing, bending, or lifting for extended periods
- Reliable with a strong work ethic and punctuality
- Ability to follow safety guidelines and use cleaning equipment properly
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed; weekend availability is a plus
