Comfort Inn Kenora is seeking a reliable, responsible, and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Night Auditor. The Night Auditor is responsible for overseeing front desk operations during the overnight shift, assisting guests, completing daily reports, and ensuring the hotel operates smoothly and securely throughout the night.
The successful candidate should be comfortable working independently, have good attention to detail, and possess basic computer skills. Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, email, and hotel computer systems is required. Previous hotel or customer service experience is considered an asset but is not mandatory.
- Perform overnight audit procedures and complete daily hotel reports.
- Review and verify guest accounts, payments, and transactions.
- Assist guests with check-ins, check-outs, reservations, and general inquiries.
- Answer telephone calls and respond to guest requests in a professional manner.
- Handle cash, credit card, and other payment transactions accurately.
- Use hotel computer systems to update reservations and guest information.
- Monitor the front desk and common areas during the overnight shift.
- Complete basic administrative and computer-related tasks.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure all required paperwork is completed.
- Communicate any maintenance, safety, or guest concerns to management.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk area.
- Ensure a smooth handover of information to the morning shift.
- Basic computer knowledge and ability to learn hotel software.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
- Ability to use email and other basic computer applications.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Basic math and cash-handling skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Reliable, punctual, and responsible.

- Previous hotel, front desk, customer service, or night audit experience is an asset.
