About the Role
GTD Supply is seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy E-Commerce Product Listing Specialist to create, optimize, and maintain product listings across Amazon, eBay, Shopify, and other online sales channels.
You will research technical products, write clear and persuasive listing content, apply relevant keywords, organize product data, and identify opportunities to improve listing visibility and performance.
This role is well-suited to someone with e-commerce listing experience who enjoys writing, research, data organization, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, edit, and maintain accurate product listings across Amazon, eBay, Shopify, and other e-commerce platforms.
- Write keyword-optimized product titles, bullet points, descriptions, specifications, and backend search terms.
- Research products, competitors, and relevant keywords.
- Convert manufacturer documentation and technical information into clear, accurate, and customer-friendly product content.
- Optimize product attributes, categories, variations, metadata, and content structure.
- Manage product data and bulk updates using Excel, marketplace templates, and platform interfaces.
- Monitor and correct suppressed listings, missing information, content errors, and compliance issues.
- Use Helium 10, marketplace analytics, and internal tools to identify listing improvement opportunities.
- Coordinate with design, marketing, purchasing, sales, and operations to ensure product content is accurate and up to date.
- Maintain consistent formatting, brand voice, and quality standards across the product catalogue.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience creating or managing product listings on Amazon, eBay, Shopify, or another e-commerce platform.
- Strong written English and copy-editing skills.
- Strong understanding of e-commerce listing best practices, including keyword use, content structure, and platform requirements.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
- Strong research skills and the ability to work with technical product information.
- Excellent attention to detail, with a strong focus on accuracy, grammar, formatting, and consistency across product listings.
- Strong organization and time-management skills.
- Ability to learn new platforms, product categories, and AI-assisted content tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience managing large cross-platform catalogues of multi-variation listings across Amazon, eBay Seller Hub, and Shopify.
- Experience with Helium 10 or similar marketplace research tools.
- Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS.
- Experience creating listings for construction, flooring, home-improvement, industrial, or other technical products.
