Overview
We are seeking a passionate and skilled individual to join our team as a head baker. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in the food industry, particularly in baking Italian bread and pastries ,food preparation, and customer service. The baker will be responsible for creating wide range of bread, beautiful cakes, ensuring food safety standards are met, and providing an exceptional experience for our customers. Candidates with restaurant experience, kitchen expertise, and a keen eye for detail will thrive in this position. Responsibilities
- Decorate cakes with artistic designs and intricate details using cake decorating techniques
- Prepare a variety of baked goods and food items following established recipes and safety guidelines
- Assist with food preparation, including measuring, mixing, and assembling ingredients
- Ensure all food handling procedures comply with health and safety regulations
- Package finished products securely for sale or delivery while maintaining presentation quality
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area and workstations
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions about products and offering recommendations
- Follow food safety protocols to ensure hygiene and quality standards are upheld at all times
Experience
- Prior experience in cake decorating or bakery environments is highly preferred
- experienced bread make is a must
- Knowledge of food handling, safety procedures, and kitchen operations within the food industry
- Skills in baking, cooking, and food presentation to create visually appealing products
- Experience with packaging baked goods for retail or delivery purposes is advantageous
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and a friendly attitude to enhance customer satisfaction
Pay: $17.20-$30.00 per hour
