Shunt Truck Driver (AZ/DZ) – Windsor, ON
Join a growing team in a stable, full-time driving position. We are currently seeking a reliable and safety-focused Shunt Truck Driver to work at one of our customer facilities in Windsor, Ontario.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys local work, takes pride in operating equipment safely, and wants to be part of a supportive team. We provide training for all aspects of the role.
Responsibilities
As a Shunt Truck Driver, your responsibilities will include:
- Safely moving 53-foot waste hauler trailers within a customer facility.
- Positioning trailers onto waste compactors using a designated ramp.
- Conducting equipment inspections and reporting any issues.
- Maintaining clear communication with customer personnel and office staff.
- Following all company safety policies and customer site procedures.
- Performing additional duties as required to support daily operations.
Qualifications
- Valid AZ or DZ Driver's Licence.
- Ability to operate a manual transmission.
- Strong commitment to safety and professionalism.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Schedule
- Monday to Saturday.
- Hours are based on customer operating requirements and business needs.
