We are growing and looking for a reliable, skilled and competent Oilfield Class 1 Driver with Gravel and Equipment experience to join our team!
The ideal candidate will have:
· Gravel experience with belly dump, end dump and tri-quad gravel units.
· Equipment hauling, experience straight trailer and jeep/lowbed combo.
· Reliable and able to go out of town to work for long periods of time.
· Have a strong commitment to safety/
· Have excellent driving skills and able to operate in tight locations.
· Most important, be a team player.
Duties
- Safely operate vehicles to transport goods to designated locations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload contaminated dirt, gravel, drilling rig cuttings and misc. Ensuring proper handling of materials.
- Load and unload equipment on job sites. Ensure proper tie down and loading.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery times.
- Assist with equipment repairs as needed to ensure vehicle reliability.
- Communicate effectively with dispatcher and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise during transport.
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations while maintaining a clean driving record.
Requirements
- Valid Canadian Commercial Class One driver's license
- Must have 3 year’s experience minimum.
- Proven experience in oilfield hauling & tickets (H2S, First Aid & CSO).
- Must be able to pass drug/alcohol test upon hiring.
- Knowledge of equipment repair is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Flexibility in working hours, including potential overtime as needed.
- Work away from home for extended periods of time.
- Must be dependable and have a reliable vehicle to get to work
