Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Deck Builder to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, constructing, and installing high-quality composite and PVC decks that enhance outdoor living spaces. Your expertise will help transform client visions into reality, ensuring safety, durability, and aesthetic appeal. Duties
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to accurately execute deck designs.
- Use hand tools and power tools to cut, shape, assemble, and install decking materials with precision.
- Prepare sites by performing concrete forming and finishing to create stable foundations for decks.
- Measure dimensions accurately and ensure all components align with project specifications.
- Operate equipment safely when necessary for site preparation or material handling.
- Install various features such as railings, stairs, lighting fixtures, and built-in furniture to complete the deck structure.
- Possibly apply caulking, painting, or staining to enhance durability and aesthetic appeal of completed decks.
- Collaborate with team members to estimate, materials needed, and pass along information.
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and building codes throughout the construction process.
Experience
- Proven experience in construction or carpentry with a focus on deck building or outdoor structures.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, concrete forming, masonry, welding, electrical experience, plumbing, flooring installation, tile laying, cabinetry installation, and construction painting is highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail to ensure quality workmanship.
- Prior experience working with schematics or technical drawings related to outdoor construction projects is preferred.

Pay: $25.00-$45.00 per hour
