"Milk Processing Manager" is a vital role based in Blyth, where you will support our dairy operations by ensuring efficient milk processing, packaging, and sanitation. Join us in our mission to produce premium dairy products while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor milk processing equipment to ensure smooth production.
- Assist with packaging and labeling of dairy products.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of processing areas in accordance with food safety standards.
- Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with food industry regulations.
- Perform basic mechanical tasks as needed to support equipment maintenance.
- Assist in inventory management and record keeping related to production.
- Contribute to a team culture focused on people, quality and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in food processing or manufacturing is preferred.
- Plant Milk Grader certification is not necessary but an asset
- Knowledge of sanitation procedures and food safety standards.
- Ability to operate basic machines
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Basic math skills for measurements and record keeping.
- Mechanical knowledge is an asset but not mandatory.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
