Role Summary
We are seeking an Inside Sales Representative who values relationships over quick transactions. Our Inside Sales team focuses on handling customer inquiries, following up on quotes, and supporting our outside salespeople. You will act as the primary point of contact for our domestic client base. You will manage accounts, provide accurate technical quotes, and deliver the world-class support our partners expect. This is not a cold-calling sweatshop; it is a role focused on retention, consultative growth, and precision.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and cultivate existing B2B customer relationships.
- Process inbound inquiries via phone and email efficiently.
- Generate accurate quotes for standard and custom steel products.
- Collaborate with production teams to verify lead times.
- Resolve client issues with empathy, speed, and accuracy.
Qualifications
- Experience: 2+ years in inside sales or industrial customer service preferred.
- Industry Knowledge: Metals, manufacturing, or construction background preferred.
- Skills: Strong mathematical aptitude for blueprint and quote calculations.
- Traits: Exceptional listener with a service-first mindset.
- Tech: Proficient with ERP systems (SYSPRO), Excel and Word.
