Overview
oddBar is looking for an enthusiastic server/bartender to join out team.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and take their food and beverage orders with enthusiasm and accuracy
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems to process orders and payments smoothly
- Ensure proper food handling and safety procedures are followed at all times
- Manage cash handling responsibilities with precision, including cashiering duties and providing change
- Maintain cleanliness of the service area, bar, and dining spaces
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries, resolving concerns, and creating a welcoming atmosphere
- Uphold food safety standards by adhering to proper food industry protocols and sanitation practices
- Demonstrate effective time management to handle multiple tables or bar patrons efficiently during busy periods
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or hospitality roles, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction
- Familiarity with POS systems
- Excellent communication skills to interact confidently with guests and team members
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of restaurant operations, serving techniques, and hospitality best practices
- Time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours without compromising service quality
- Experience with cashiering duties including processing payments accurately and efficiently
- Knowledge of craft beer
