Learning Support Teacher

East Central Alberta Catholic Separate School Division invites applications for the position of 1.0 FTE Learning Support Teacher at Blessed Sacrament School in Wainwright, Alberta.
This is a full-time temporary contract position. Duties are to commence on August 26, 2026, and the contract will terminate on February 28, 2027.
The responsibilities of a Learning Support Teacher are as follows but not limited to:
- Monitors and supports IPP and EAL creation and implementation
- Supervises all educational assistants
- Oversee inclusive programming resources and spaces
- Member of committee for hiring educational assistants
- Liaise with specialists such as SLP and OT
- Support teachers with universal, differentiated, and EAL strategies
- Attends divisional and provincial professional development training and administrative meetings as directed by the Inclusive Education Coordinator.

- Bachelor of Education
- Focus on high quality, student-centered learning
- Ability to collaborate with colleagues and to exercise servant leadership
- Willing to be involved in extracurricular activities (coaching or clubs) would be an asset
- Ability to develop, implement and monitor division and school inclusive educational strategies and goals
- Able to serve and live as an example of Jesus Christ to all
