About the Opportunity
A well-established automotive stamping manufacturer in the Windsor area is seeking two Maintenance Millwrights to join the maintenance teams at two of its production facilities (one position at each location, both situated on the Windsor/LaSalle border). These are permanent, full-time roles supporting high-volume automotive production in modern, fast-paced facilities running advanced manufacturing technology, including robotics and automated systems.

What You'll Be Doing
- Provide maintenance support across all areas of production, ensuring machines and facilities operate safely and efficiently
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment failures — both routine and non-routine — to minimize downtime
- Perform repairs on hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems
- Troubleshoot and repair industrial robots and automated production equipment
- Perform MIG and stick welding and fabrication as required
- Troubleshoot motors, gearboxes, and drive systems
- Read blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work procedures
- Support preventative and corrective maintenance on presses and related production machinery
- Perform general facility maintenance
- Work collaboratively with electricians, automation specialists, and the broader maintenance team
- Adhere to all company policies, including Health & Safety, Environmental, Quality, and HR standards
What We're Looking For
Required:
- Minimum 3 years' hands-on experience as an industrial millwright in a repair/maintenance capacity
- Strong hydraulic and pneumatic troubleshooting and repair experience
- MIG and stick welding
- Industrial robot troubleshooting and repair
- Facility maintenance experience
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
- Ability to work a rotating shift schedule (days, afternoons, midnights)
- Self-motivated, safety-focused, and able to thrive in a fast-paced production environment
Strongly Preferred:
- 433A Journeyperson certification (apprenticeship path); 3rd- or 4th-year apprentices may be considered
- Press or injection mould machine maintenance experience
- Robotic welding maintenance (spot, MIG, or laser)
- Motor and gearbox troubleshooting
- Encoder / drive applications (CNC, transfer systems, etc.)
Considered a Major Asset (Highly Specialized):
- Laser welding experience
- Hot stamp press experience
- Industrial combustion blower furnace experience
- Laser cutting machine experience
