Overview
Join our dynamic team as a Server/Bartender at Chestermere's newest Golf Simulator location. With 5 bays you will be required to handle up to 25 people at one time, casually serving them drinks assisting with the golf simulators if required, taking payment, bookings and phone calls. You will be require to handle food but we do not have a kitchen, we use local restaurants in the area to provide our meals. You must be able to multitask, manage time effectively, resolve issues with clients or our products and keep the space clean. You also need to be willing to learn how the golf simulators work and how to operate them efficiently.
Potential assistant management position available if requirements are met.
Responsibilities
- Take orders from guests accurately and efficiently, ensuring all special requests are noted and fulfilled
- Assist with golf simulator set-up and troubleshooting
- Prepare and serve beverages, including alcoholic drinks, following established recipes and safety standards
- Handle cash register operations using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, processing payments swiftly and correctly
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and dining areas to uphold food safety standards
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests, answering questions, and addressing concerns promptly
- Manage multiple tables or bar stations simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
Experience
- Previous restaurant or food industry experience preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms is highly desirable
- Experience in serving or bartending roles with valid pro serve license.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy periods
- Hospitality background
- Any previous indoor golf simulator experience helps but not required.

Pay: $15.00-$19.00 per hour
